Lekue Ovo Red and Clear Platinum Silicone 3.5 Ounce Square Egg Cooker

After much cleaning of the interior of our microwave, I have found that you should break the yolk, leave the lid ajar AND cook on 30% power. Then watch it closely. The tiny vent is inadequate. Poor design and engineering. Works better with scrambled, although adding different ingredients is very novel and the shape is fun. Poor European-type instructions too.

Quick and easy way to make breakfast in the morning. The only thing that I don't like about it is the lid pops off (sometimes splashing egg around my microwave) during the cooking process.

I love shirred eggs. I don't love baking them in the oven because of the time it takes. When I did them in the microwave, the plastic wrap sometimes melted, and the explosions were messy.I use 80% power with this with great results. There's more than enough room for an extra large egg with sour cream and a little butter, and the cooked eggs pop right out. The resulting square shaped egg is quirky, cute, and easy to manage. This cleans up quite easily. I love the Lékué silicone cookware, and this hasn't disappointed me.My sister thought I was nuts when she saw this, and told me that there was no reason not to take the time and trouble to cook shired eggs the traditional way. The next day, I got up, smeared a drop of olive oil into this, cracked an egg in, added a dollop of Greek yogurt, stuck it in the microwave, and sat down to breakfast a minute later. We were staying in a cottage with a kitchenette with a small sink, microwave, and mini-fridge. That was the last I heard about useless kitchen gadgets.

I immediately regret this purchase. I used it umpteen times to practice with it on the stove and in the microwave. Boiling an egg in it resulted in half the mold holding water. Microwaving it caused explosions and plastic tasting eggs. I love poached eggs, but this product still needs a lot of improvement.

These work well and allow for adding various items to the eggs and then cooking them quickly. I ordered different shapes and they are fun for guests.

Just does not work in the microwave, eggs spread out. Nasty and difficult to clean.

THIS IS THE GREATEST PRODUCT FOR MAKING AN EGG. I USE DIFFERENT INGREDIENTS AND USUALLY BREAK THE YOLK AND STIR AROUND, PUT IN MICRO FOR 60 SECONDS AND HAVE A GREAT LITTLE OMELET. I HAVE THREE OF THESE IN DIFFERENT SHAPES AND LOVE USING THEM. VERY FAST, BREAKFAST IN A MINUTE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Love these, put the veggies in & egg white ...cook 20 sec, then place yolk on top for pretty, soft cooked for another perhaps 10-20 sec's. Depends on the microwave. So watch and create your times but came out lovely w/ asparagus coming out of the top! Fun for all!

Takes longer to poach an egg and additions - like 10 minutes instead of 4 but is an interesting and fun thing for breakfast

Ho comprato prima la confezione con 2 stampini: " Un successo!!!!".... come tutti i prodotti della casa spagnola Lékué.In meno di un minuto, in microonde o nell'acqua bollente si può cuocere un uovo dal tuorlo liquido e mezzo minuto in più per rassodarlo. Il tempo di cottura dipende dalla potenza del microonde.Si deve ungere solo lo stampo....quindi pochi grassi.Si possono aggiungere verdure o salumi e realzare un cubo, un cilindro, un cuore o una semisfera a seconda dello stampo. Ottimo prodotto....un po caro ma validissimo!!!Qui su amazon si può trovare a un prezzo più basso dello stesso sito della casa produttrice o di altri venditori.Ne ho comprati diversi, anche da regalare! ....design accattivante e velocità e facilità di utilizzo.Superconsigliato!

Estoy encantada con el producto, los huevos salen con su forma cuadrada, la clara cuajada y la yema líquida. Da gusto romper el cubo y ver cómo sale la yema. Puedes añadir otros ingredientes como verduras, jamón o queso. Me ha salido el huevo perfecto a la primera! Hay que tenerlo unos 30 segundos en el micro y después lo revisas y si no está hecho lo metes otros 10 segundos más, pero cuidado porque te puedes pasar y entonces se cuaja la yema también. Con los productos de lekué siempre hay que encontrarle el punto al microondas pero una vez que lo tienes te van a salir unos huevos espectaculares, totalmente recomendado.

Il prodotto è funzionale, semplice da usare e da pulire. Le frittatine che si ottengono sono mono porzione, ma la loro preparazione è talmente rapida da poterne fare più di una in rapida successione. L'unico neo è il ricettario, un semplice fogliettino con pochi suggerimenti. Aggiungerei il prezzo, non esattamente contenuto. Comunque ne sono decisamente soddisfatto
