Happy with Furrion
Just got it. Packaged well and seems to be in great shape. I'll re-post after I get it up, running and try it out on the road. I've been please with the other Furrion electronics that came in our new Keystone 32' 5ver. If the camera works as well I'll be happy as hog in a wallow. Our rig came pre-wired for the Furrion, and they give you LOTS of wire...too much actually for the small housing on the rear of the trailer. From the Amazon reviews, it looks like the major complaints were from folks who had rigs 40' and over. so hoping my 32' will not tax the wireless signal. More later.Update #1: Tested the unit today. Was already pared so started working as soon as I powered both units up. Picture was clear and no disconnects. I hard wired the monitor with an "add a circuit" and a 2 amp fuse to the fuse block in the dash because I didn't want the cigarette lighter cord flopping all over. Again so far very pleased. Major two month RV trip at the end of June so that will be a good road test. I'll update then.Update #2: Tried it out on a short trip. Worked great. Picture clear, no interruptions in signal. Long summer trip coming up so we'll see how it does then but so far so good. The only issue with installation of the camera on the 5ver was that Keystone put way too much wire to the pre-wired plug in. Was hard to get it all crammed into the housing but that's not a Furrion issue.Update #3: Just completed first leg of a long summer trip with this unit. Yuma AZ to Cedar City UT. Again, using it to observe not only the toys loaded on my flatbed trlr I'm pulling behind my 5th wheel, but also traffic to the rear and sides as my rig in triple is now a LONG one. Product worked great! Daytime image crystal clear and stable. Night vision a bit grainy as with all NV tech, but still very helpful observing my load behind and traffic approaching. Sure the screen could be bigger, BUT, I think a 7" monitor would block a lot of windshield view. I experimented with diff locations and found that just to the left and slightly below my rear view mirror was the optimum location. Our 32' Keystone Cougar Lite 5th Whl came with the pre-wired Furrion housing, and with this model I don't have to have the running lights on as with most. Would also recommend either removing it for extended storage (sun/rain/snow) as it's not hard to re-connect at all....or covering it as I did to protect it from the AZ sun. So far VERY happy with this unit and would definitely recommend. From here in CC it's on to Wyoming then back to Yuma. I''ll advise at the end of the trip.UPDATE SEPT 19, 2017:Just returned from MANY miles of travel over the summer and the camera and monitor worked flawlessly. I consider this one of my better investments RV wise. Still VERY happy with the clarity of the picture (daytime 5 stars - nighttime 4 stars). Really helps with both viewing the load on the flatbed towed behind my 5ver, AND with traffic approaching from the rear. I recommend this unit.ONE YEAR LATER: JUNE 2018 Just left on annual summer "pilgramage" to Utah from Yuma AZ. Unit still functions well, clear picture, good signal. VERY happy with it! SIDE NOTE: I removed the entire mounting plate on the rear of my Cougar 5th wheel and then I was able to push excessive power cord into the trailer wall this eliminating the "too much wire" problem I mentioned above.

Works great, needed a different windshield mount
Purchased this when Amazon still offered it from their own warehouse. First one wouldn't pair properly (never got video signal). Hassle free replacement, new camera arrived fast.Camera itself installed with little issue as the camper was prewired for it. The windshield mount didn't work for us; there was simply no angle where the screen would face us while the antennae was attached. We ended up buying a clamshell style phone holder ( Product Link )and drilling a hole for the antennae.Image quality is good although colors seem off at times, such as purple trees. Night vision is underwhelming but that's to be expected. Hauling a 35 foot trailer with a Ford Expedition, it maintains a pretty decent signal, only occasionally experiencing dropped frames.Overall I'm very happy with this camera, it makes a world of difference when backing up and driving. No more questioning if you've cleared that car before making a lane change.Update: Camera already prevented an accident. Three lane highway, I entered the middle lane to pass a slower moving minivan. Left lane was ending and I could see a car coming in hot, dead set on getting ahead of me before their lane ended. They were driving on the shoulder trying to pass me and I was able to use the camera to quickly determine that it was safe for me to move back to the right lane before they clip the corner of my truck or spin out trying to pass on the shoulder.

You shouldn't tow a camper without one of these!
We purchased this as our new Rockwood Mini-Lite came prewired for the Furrion camera. I didn't want the back up camera, I wanted the full observation camera so I could use it when we were driving and I hesitated for a while as I thought this pricey.. The installation on the camper was a snap (4 screws and a plug) and the set up even quicker. The bluetooth connection came right up and held a signal for the entire 3 weeks we were on the road in Canada. The picture would sometimes appear a bit bleached out but it turned out that was because of the sun hitting the camera. What I really liked about it was that I could see our bikes on the back (ladder mounted rack) and when I would pull out to pass, I could see if there was a car or truck behind me that I couldn't see in my mirrors. I also had to back off of the ferry (down a steep ramp) and this was a god send! The only issue we had was one morning, when I couldn't get a picture, I quickly discovered that the unit in the car had no power. I thought I had blown a fuse in the lighter but it turned out to be the fuse in the plug (part of the unit) that had not blown but had so much resistance, the unit wouldn't come up. I simply took a fuse out of my phone charger plug and off we went but it might be a good idea to have a spare fuse (short little 1.5 amp buss type). The quality of the in car unit is okay (light plastic case) and you have to take care of it but the functionality was terrific! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone towing a camper!

RV Marriage Saving Camera....
OMG, this product should be named; "The Marriage Saving Camera"... or at least that's our nickname for it... It was one of the 1st purchases on our new RV in 2018 and I haven't looked back... Literally...It's wireless connectivity is amazing, no issues with our Truck and RV, approximately 45 feet between camera and receiver unit... One of the unknown benefits to us was wiring it up to view the rear of the RV while running on the highways. It's picture clarity with the "closeness zones" is great for when those "Stupid Drivers" want to drive only a few feet away from your bumper, you can slow down to force them to go around you. That's a definite perk in my books...Just some background, we're an avid camping family with two young children (under 10), we average 100 nights per season in our RV plus an average of 12,000km towing her around. Many times we show up at dust or near completely darkness and the night-vision is a little weak, but adding some additional rear 12v cube lights to our RV fixed that right up... Camera angle is good, the clarify and field of depth is more important the wide angle. Just my opinion...More often that not, we're having to back our rig into some very tight spaces... Most of the time my wife / kids don't exit the truck when backing the rig up... As well I'm often asked how I was able to park our rig in that tight spaces without any assistance. I refer them to the Marriage Saving Camera !!I totally love this camera, not just a backup device but to monitor our rear of our rig while traveling down busy highways or interstates. It' has saved our bacon more than a few times during lane changes as your can see exactly when its save to pull out or pull back in... simply amazing... wouldn't own an RV without one!Only negative I could find about this product was the wiring instruction / label could be more clear... As two black wires, if wired incorrectly the device will not turn on, flipping these wires (ingress/egress) fixes this, but maybe using different colours to identify the positive/ingress wire and the ground /egress wire would be beneficial. I know thats a simple little beef but i've talked to a few guys who complained they could not get theirs to work. Flipping these two wires always seemed to fix that issue in under 10 minutes... go figure eh?

Easy to use and setup!
Works like a charm. My trailer was pre-wired for this product so tool about 5 min to install and I was up and running. Depending on your trailer, you may need to have your full headlights running for this to be functional (our prewire was run from the running lights on the trailer, and daytime running lights don't activate your running lights). Gives you a lot of peace of mind when travelling knowing what's going on behind you!

Easy install. Works very well.
My trailer was already roughed in for this camera. The camera is not hi def, and the refresh rate is a little choppy. But it is so much better hauling my trailer with it than without it. It really works well when backing into the driveway or a camping stall.

Very helpful with a large trailer
We purchased a new 26 foot trailer to replace our tent trailer, and it came with the mount for the Furrion observation camera already installed. It took about four minutes to undo the four screws, remove the blank plate, plug the camera into the connector, and screw it into the mount. Pairing the camera with the monitor was quick and easy, and it makes towing the new trailer much safer as I am able to see what is in the vicinity of the rear bumper. Similarly, backing the trailer into a space is much easier now that I can see directly where I am going. Definitely glad that we bought this!

Works perfectly on 21 foot travel trailer
Purchased last year, worked perfectly since. I particularly like being able to monitor behind the trailer when driving. Passing is safer because you can tell with certainty when you are clear of the vehicle being passed, and no one can hide out of sight behind the trailer. The system also removes the need for extension rear view mirrors.Price is a bit high, but unlike cheaper systems, this one works.
