HQRPAC Power Adapter Charger Compatible with Tivoli PAL iPAL Radio PAL-PS MA-1 MA-2 MA-3 Battery Plus Euro Plug Adapter

I naively went through more than a couple of batteries, assuming them dead, before I realized that this HQRP AC Power Adapter Charger was not working properly.It always had a bit of a problem fitting snugly into the power input of the Tivoli IPAL radio, but it worked often enough that I thought it was okay.This piece of JUNK cost me in batteries--and I feel sick about throwing out at least 2 (probably) perfectly good batteries because I trusted this messed up product.I only bought it in the first place because Tivoli said they were out of their own Chargers. (and because: busy) I became suspicious only when a very recently purchased battery for the radio would not charge or work anymore with the HQRP Charger after only a few weeks. So tried another charger from another Tivoli Radio, and VOILA, all good. I dug out the old battery slated for the dump and charged it as well with the Tivoli Charger, and again VOILA! Charged full and holds charge beautifully. My bad for not doing more testing and understanding electronics as well as I should.Lesson: always try to charge your Batteries with another Charger before giving up on them. And don't buy this idiot failure of a product.

The charger works fine and doesn't overheat. Unfortunately, it introduces a lot of line interference if I try to use the radio while it is plugged in, so we listen on battery and charge when needed.

Not sure if it's the adapter or the radio--I have a Tivoli radio that doesn't always work so I thought maybe it was the power cord. Now it works sometimes so it is possible it the the radio itself and not this adapter.

Power chord wore out on my PAL radio - this baby did the trick. Ended up buying a second one for my other one [lost that power chord].A pleasant surprise/added bonus was the length of the chord - maybe 6 feet? Not sure how long but it was longer than my old one and it comes in handy.Haven't tried the european version [I'm in the US].

It does the job but I found out that you can buy the original replacement cheaper than this product so the question is do you want this one for the original at the factory site

Perfect replacent for my tivoli Two converter/cord. Went all over Europe looking for tivoli to sell me one and hard a difficult time. Perfect.

Great product. Charges Tivoli iPal radio in a couple of hours, much faster than power adapter that came with radio.
