The Faith We Sing Singer's Edition
Our church has the pew editions in the pews (of course). Here at home, I have 1 copy of the accompaniment edition, and just now 1 copy of the singers edition. For a lot of the songs, a person could just use the singers edition for the person playing accompaniment. Both the top and bottom hands are in most of the songs in the singers book. There are some selections that have only the top hand in the singers edition. If a person wasn't to picky, the singers edition would work for the accompanist, but if you want to make sure you have everything, make sure to get the accompainment edition if you are the accompainist. The Singers edition is great!!! It is spirial bound and easy to flip through for singers. Like I said, most of the songs have both top and both hands for each song. The dimension size of the singers edition is bigger than the pew books, but smaller than the accompaniment edition.Overall, is you are wanting to get books for your choir, don't just use pew books, get your choir the singers books, it will be well worth the money so that not just the soprano have their part, but the alto, tenor and base have their parts too!!!

Good addition to our church choir.
Nice that this is spiral bound. Was told by another company that spiral bound did not exist!! Book lays flat on music stands.

Great arrangements for piano and choir
Nice, full piano arrangements - great resource for quick anthems, praise choruses, solos, quartets, or piano solo. Includes chord names for guitar. Fits in a standard binder from office supply store.

Nice Addition to the United Methodist Hymnal
This is a very nice addition to the United Methodist Hymnal. While I would never give up my regular hymnal, this has some of the more modern hymns and praise choruses. The price is good and I hope to get these for my church in the near future. This could also be a very nice, stand alone hymnal for a non-Methodist congregation as well.

You will need a good large binder (I recommend a D-ring)
This loose-leaf version is a reasonably priced alternative to the spiral-bound one. You will need a good large binder (I recommend a D-ring), but this also makes it easy to pull out only the songs you need for a particular service. The pages are NOT thin, but substantial. For those who are unfamiliar, The Faith We Sing is a more contemporary followup to the United Methodist Hymnal. There are three versions, a small pew version (with melody only), a singers version (all relevant vocal parts), and this version (full vocal, and full accompaniment).

this will be a big help to my organist.
I was pleased to get the very prompt delivery. The pages seem very durable and that is a good thing for a hymnal that will get used a lot. Other hymn accompaniment editions that I have purchased have had thinner pages and the book gets worn out much quicker. We hope to get a lot of use from this. Thank you

A great book to keep testing your sight reading skills
Another great book for sight reading practice. These pieces are more modern than the older Methodist hymnal, so they can a little more musical and challenging.

Not much different than the "Pew Edition"
I expected this one to have 2-4 part harmonies written for the songs, so I could at least see the chord structure and play them accurately. Some of the songs do, but the majority of them don't. It seems the lesser-known songs have only the melody line. There are no chord symbols either, so unless you know what the song is supposed to sound like, you're out of luck. I was very disappointed since I already had the pew edition, and felt this was not worth my money.
