WHAT'S COVERED: Immediate protection against accidental damage, along with cover for breakdowns and faults not covered by the seller/manufacturer warranty. KEY EXCLUSIONS: The following are not covered - Theft, loss, cosmetic damage, intentional or malicious damage, not taking reasonable care, improper use (as defined in IPID), accessories not included with the product when purchased, electronic virus or software problems, or the contents of your product (e.g. data, photos, videos, contacts)
CLAIMS: No need to wait for a repair. Upon a successful claim we can immediately email you an desertcart e-gift card to the value of a replacement. Upon e-gift card settlement or replacement your policy will end. No excess to pay. 98% of claims accepted (avg. Apr-22 to Mar-23)
RESTRICTIONS: Covers a single product purchased on desertcart as new (with a manufacturer guarantee of at least one year) or desertcart Renewed. If you are unable to provide the insured product at point of claim for inspection it will be classed as lost and not covered. Cover is for UK residents (excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man) aged 18 years and over.
CANCEL ANYTIME: Full refund if within 45 days and no claim has been made. Otherwise pro-rated refund based on remaining term less claim costs.
