I tried it as soon as I got it in through the front door. My afro is a very dense 3C (10 inches long), which does hold moisture at the ends when wet but is still incredibly thick at the root. I detangled my entire head with just my fingers for the first time in my life. This stuff really does just glide on through. <3My scalp/skin overall are very sensitive which is why after scouring the internet, I was hesitantly hopeful about trying ambunu out in my hair. Only things like raw oils and butters and African black soap have been safe for my skin thus far, so! I thought to myself, "Nothing is more natural than rubbing leaves into your hair, right?"I can honestly say the only thing I found any fault with is how messy ambunu is, which honestly is to be expected, as it really is slimy and leafy and I looked a bit like a tree myself after first applying it, lol. Covered in leafy crumbles, as was my bathroom. But it's still 5/5 and a 10/10 for me, because this stuff feels great. Lots of slip and moisture.SMELL: A bit like faint tea leaves, not strong or unpleasant at all.AMOUNT: I actually only used about 1.5 cups of warm water and a spoonful of the leaves, and was careful to do it over my bowl so the excess would drip back into the bowl- even though the leaves fell all over the place, heh. I saturated my whole head and still had a little leftover to massage into my scalp afterward, a little bit does go a long way with this stuff. It's very easy to make if you need more than I did, though. <3

People who like DIY ayurvedic products will love this. It is a natural way to cleanse the hair and condition at the same time. You will need more than the recommended amount of ambunu to make it gooey. I use at least 1/4 c to 1 c of hot water. Be sure to strain it through a nut milk bag or stocking cap before using or your hair will be full of leaf bits. It cleanses well and leaves my hair moist. I bought this brand the first time and think the cost is outrageous. I would recommend buying the ambunu from Roselle Naturals also right here on Amazon. I got 3x as much for $22.

Ambunu has been great for my hair. I have been searching for a natural water based leave in that didn't cost a fortune. This is economical because all it takes is 1 tablespoon of the Ambunu to make a liter of leave in and it lasts. I finally got a successful twist out, with the help of ambunu. I will definitely be ordering again. Also, if you use an old knee high stocking as a strainer, it works great to remove all the little leaves. It didn't really have a smell, I guess if I had to say, it smells like herbal tea, very faint. I put it in a bottle and that's how I apply it to my hair. You can add some essential oils to it or use it as is. Will definitely recommend to friends & family.

This product is good but the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because you need more of the flower to get the desired consistency needed as opposed to the powder.

I love the concept of Ambunu natural hair detangler with cleanser/conditioning properties. Wish more was in pack. I use 1/3 cup, sat 30m-1 hr then squeezed to get thick gel out. Awesome for thick, long natural tightly curly/Coily hair!

Ce produit ne mérite pas d'étoile, mais puisqu’il faut noter j’en met qu’une.Ne vous faites pas avoir ce n’est pas du Ambunu. Après avoir mis les feuilles dans de l’eau vous vous retrouvez avec du thé et non l’eau gluante escomptée.

Visage et corps c'est un produit naturel cela prendra du temps avant de voir l'effet il faut être patient
