Bought to keep dogs in a safe area and to allow cats to use cat flap at night without the fear of being chased! We’ve had various child pressure gates for the kids when young and used them again for the dogs, but we’re unsuitable. This is very well made and tall (104cm), and way to lock and unlock by humans - wish we’d seen these 10 years ago!Very very happy

This gate is just what I need and what I expected from the advert.The one issue I have is the catch to open and close the gate is unusual and difficult to operate. There is a way of just resting it so the top hinge isn’t ‘locked’ in place but the gate can’t swing open. This is what I usually do, as it is sufficient to stop the dog opening the gate but allows my son to open and close the gate when required. Very strange. I wonder if it is faulty 🤷‍♀️As I’ve found a way to work round this, I’m keeping the gate because otherwise it is perfect. My lively cockapoo puppy has not knocked it over or jumped it … yet

Great extra tall gate! We got for a little pup to keep him in or out of the our open plan kitchen which doesn't have a door and is quite a wide opening. I wasn't sure if the gate would be secure on my walls because of the width of the space, but I bought a few wall nanny pads and I think they will spread the pressure more evenly, so hopefully protect my walls and stop the gate from falling over. Our pup is a little boston so I didn't necessarily need an extra tall gate, but I got it mostly because it's above waist height so it's super easy to open with one hand and you don't have to bend down to open it. Also the extra height will deter our pup from trying to jump over it when he's full grown. I build it myself (30 yr old lady with no upper body strength!), with a little help from my partner to hold the gate steady when upright and tighten the screws with some pliers to make it extra sturdy. Really recommend this gate! It's expensive but worth it for the quality and strong metal. But my review is only on day one, let's see how long it survives!

Easy to install with clear instructions on how to do this. Tall and sturdy fantastic value for money

Easy to fit, works a treat and keeps our dog at bay when needed. He can just about stand up against it butbits so sturdy, it doesn't move at all when he jumps against it. Really recommend for bigger heavier dogs.

Product was easy to put together, but when at needed size was rather flimsy and not sturdy at the joints.Ok if your only using the small gate section without the extensions , but that wasn’t what I bought this product for.

I needed a method of segregating two female cats to prevent them fighting, keeping one up stairs and the other down. I needed something which was high enough for them not to jump over, was easy enough for me to get through, easy to install and which did not require permanent fixture.My amazing Fiancée bought me one of these and hit all of those requirements in one fell swoop.It was incredibly easy to install, even with one of the extension sides, and it was up and being used within minutes of my opening the box. It fitted the space at the top of the stairs perfectly and blends in nicely with the white balustrade.I wasn't 100% certain that it would be tall enough to prevent one of the cats from jumping over, but sure enough, nearly a week on and we are, thus far without incident!The safety catch has a nice two stage feature which requires a thumb push and a trigger pull. This means that unless the cats suddenly grow opposable thumbs there will definitely be no more fur flying.Hurrah!I would definitely recommend this product.
