Description

The Melierax hardshell jacket was designed as a very lightweight jacket, provides superior protection against inclement weather. With its reduced Infrared signature (NIR), it sets standards and is thus also suitable for use at special armed forces. The contemporary cut ensures high freedom of movement and comfortable fit. The exterior is made from highly durable yet stretchy polyamide fabric with rip-stop texture, which is permanently water repellent (DWR). To used efficient membrane with high waterproofing and water vapour permeability offers optimal moisture management. All seams are sealed, the outside zips are waterproof, so the penetration of water into the interior of the jacket is prevented. Even in the most adverse weather conditions, the jacket provides full protection against wind and bad weather. The adjustable hood harmonises with combat helmets, each sleeve has an over arm pocket and a velcro closure. The two large chest pockets permit easy access, even when there is a chest rig and/or a backpack. There are two zips in the armpits for comfortable ventilation.
