Coolibar UPF 50+ Women's Seaside Hoodie - Sun Protective

I love this shirt. I am normally a medium in a lot of outdoor brands but I ordered a small and it was still pretty loose fitting. It’s just the fit of this shirt because I ordered another item from this company, a dress and it fits more like a glove in a small.I felt amazed by the material feeling just as soft as an ordinary cotton T-shirt but when you put it on it felt like you immediately had gone under the shade tree and felt significant protection from the harsh, hot sun. If only the hood was a bit bigger or had a little brim your face could’ve also been protected. Lol. But having the hood was a major advantage as it did still keep your head cooler. I ordered white and of course wore it hiking and camping and it got very dirty, but washed up easily and came sparkling clean again and dried really fast, of course I was in a hot sunny area when I hand washed it in the sink of a hotel it was dried before we left a couple hours later that same day. I would definitely recommend this shirt to anyone who is thinking they want a product that will protect them from the sun and be comfortable enough for every day wear. It is significantly softer, lighter and more comfortable then the material that they make their dresses out of even though the tag shows the same breakdown of materials, i’m guessing it has something to do with the dyes they add to make the patterns.

I bought this primarily to cover my arms and neck due to sun allergy. I hated wearing the arm sleeves and needed something that would not only cover my arms but also came up high enough to cover my neck when driving. This does both when the jacket is zipped up.It serves double duty to provide some warmth against air conditioning in the car-my husband blasts the air when we're driving and I'm always cold. This solves that problem too.I wore it all day at the beach and for the first time did not have burnt shoulders and neck from sitting in the sun all day. It kept me warm from the cold breezes and kept me cool when the sun was beating overhead. The hood came in handy on a light trail walk too. I forgot my hat and wanted to cover my head from falling leaves and such. I was glad to remember the jacket I was wearing had a hoodie attached. The pockets are great for tucking in hands or a piece if paper but not really meant to keep things secure.Finally it's a great layering piece. I wore it over or under tshirts or under a thicker hoodie sweater. It was not bulky and helped add warmth that way.The material is soft and slightly stretchy with the right amount of weight - it's not too hot. I chose the zip up style to make it easy to wear over any outfit. It paired great with shorts, jeans, or a sun dress. It fits just right and ever so slightly loose to not feel stuck on your skin. The cut is not too boxy or tight. It looks sporty, not too much like a workout jacket, but also looks like any other active wear jacket without screaming sunblock protection all over it like the others. The length is not short like some jackets nor long enough to tuck in. I'm 5'3 and usually wear a medium. I ordered the medium.

I wanted a very light jacket to wear in the car as I live in California and drive a lot. I have noticed my left arm and cheek getting more burned than my right which I attribute to being in the car. I wanted protection from that. I have other Coolibar products which I LOVE and this is perfect for my needs.This jacket is perfect. It's very light and thin. I purchased the white in large. The white is see-through, which isn't a problem for what I want it for, but others should be aware. I also got the Large because based on reviews it runs large. I would say this is true. I am busty and usually wear a 14-16 or XL in shirts. I didn't want a big boxy look which based on reviews I was affraid I'd get if I went with the XL so I opted for the L. This is form fitting on me in a flattering way. It doesn't make me look like a sausage. So I would suggest sizing down.The hood is great too. If I cinch it tight it covers half of my left cheek with helps with that burn problem.The only change I'd make is to have longer sleeve with thumb holes to protect the hands.Thanks Coolibar!

I was skeptical regarding a jacket that could be a sun protectant and yet not cause me to sweat in the humid NC summer. However, this one is the one that can do it. I've been amazed that I can wear it and remain somewhat cool. I wear it in the car to keep the sun from burning my arms and it isn't hot, I wear it at the pool to protect from the sun and it works great without sweating. It's lightweight, washes well and is a nice fit. It isn't baggy and loose fitting. The zipper is smooth and I can wear it inside places that have ice cold AC, where I tend to freeze.I have an issue adjusting to extreme temperatures and my rheumatologist tells me to stay out of the sun with lupus, so I'm always on the hunt for protection. This is perfect. I need more colors.

I bought this to be able to quickly throw on when going outside with my kids. I didn’t want typical rash guard material, but something that looks like an actual shirt/jacket with a hood and full zip (currently pregnant and wanted to be able to wear it despite that, even if I couldn’t zip it up). I normally wear FreeFly but they didn’t have any zipper hoodies when I was looking.This is everything I wanted. Soft, comfortable, stretchy material that is almost buttery - definitely not swimsuit material. It is lightweight, although I was starting to feel rather warm after 10 minutes in direct sunlight in NY in late May. I’m not sure any Long sleeve sun shirt will lack that.Sizing was perfect. I’m normally 5’0” and 110lbs, usually size 0-4 depending on brand, and the XS fits perfectly (other than my 7 month pregnancy bump). The hood isn’t too big or too small. I LOVE that the zipper has two pulls and can go up or down.The only flaw - no loop for a coat rack hook.

Schoene, bequemer Sonnenschutz, passt zu allem und kann in der Maschine gewaschen werden. Anders als viele SP Kleidungsstücke ist die Jacke atmungsaktiv, da nicht aus Polyester. Würde ich mir gerne noch in einer weniger empfindlichen Farbe kaufen. Die Jacke ist sehr leicht, kann zusammengerollt und in der Handtasche transportiert werden.
