Good picture, great low latency for gaming and comes with the magic remote.. a good package
I got this TV to replace a 2017 LG panel which had sadly developed the common backlight LED strip problem, leading to the image turning blue. Saw this one available and good reviews for it for gaming (which mine is used for regularly) and went for it.I was pleased to see this one comes with the magic remote, not something that has come with my previous LG's (inc the 2020 model I got for the bedroom earlier this year). It is a bluetooth remote that adds pointer capability to the remote, making for a slicker and easier experience. As with other WebOS models, this comes with a range of built in apps and the LG content store with a ton of extra apps. One flaw from my bedroom TV was it missing All 4 and the 5 player (due to some contract mistake from LG last year apparently when they hadn't renewed it)... All 4 is still not on that 2020 model. Please to say they have addressed it here and I have a range of apps on and running smoothly inc Disney, Netflix, Apple +, Prime, Iplayer, All 4 , Pluto etc.The picture quality is good , backlights, contrast, brightness , res and HDR all good and more than good enough to provide a quality experience for Gaming and Movies/TV.Overall I'm very pleased, a good TV for the price. My only reservation will be if it has a shortish life like the 2017 models and only time will tell on that one.

Great for gaming, great for isolation binging. For the price just amazing overall.
I bought this to plug in as a 3rd PC monitor (Netflix etc), with my Nintendo Switch and Retropie as well. I had read some stuff about backlight bleed, delivery bumps affecting screens and such from around a year ago but mine arrived perfect. Gaming with it is a joy. No lag/latency at all. Breath of the Wild, which I had just started playing for the first time, looks amazing. I have bought a couple of 4k movies on amazon to see what they look like and to be honest I can not tell the difference between them and some Netflix content (yes, Amazon stuff was definately 4k and no, I do not have the Netflix 4k package...yet). I think this is largely due to going to a good 49" TV from a good (but old) 27" Samsung gaming monitor. I am still amazed at the difference in quality of picture. There are enough picture settings to accomadate different room lighting, gaming mode, cinema mode, but for BOTW Vivid mode makes the game really vibrant for me.At the time of purchase I did not realise the TV comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in, so a few accessories now live in a drawer! I guess nowadays this is standard, but the last time I bought a big TV was at least 10 years ago and it was crap and a LOT more expensive. If I had to pick something to complain about I can only think of the lack of a remote (needed). Luckily for me, I had a 5 year old LG remote and it turns out it does everything with this TV. No need for the semi-expensive magic remote unless that floats your boat.I do not use Alexa etc so can not comment on that, but for the price I would challenge anyone to find a better screen. For me, 10/10 very happy!

Brought this TV in a sale, but would have paid full price
I had been indecisive for ages about wanting a new 4K smart TV as I wasn't sure if it would be much of an investment or not. I got this TV in a sale for just over £300, however after having it for 2 months now I can happily say that I would have paid for price for it. The image on the TV is crystal clear to the point were sometimes you forget you are watching a TV.As a gamer myself I would highly recommend it due to it's in built AI that detects and adjusts TV settings to always give you the best result. Alongside that the speaker system is fantastic and really helps immerse you in whatever you are doing. A small feature I also love is it's ability to detect new inputs and give a quick and easy change prompt (A small thing, but useful non the less)Finally the smart element of the TV. This TV allows you to have every streaming service you desire and some music services as well. As I traditionally was streaming off my PlayStation that used more power than this TV, so an added bonus is that it has saved me money on my electric bill.I would highly advise that if you are looking for a new TV pick this one.

Great TV, but beware the lack of catch-up services other than BBC iPlayer.
Have had the TV for a month as an upgrade from an old Sony HD TV without smart functions. The quality of the build is good and the unit looks good. The picture quality is good (seeing 4k for the first time takes some getting used to), but can be a little dark in some circumstances despite the range of picture options available. The smart functions are pretty good, but would have benefited from the following:- Additional satellite input enabling the recording of one channel whilst watching another (a function my Humax foxsat HDR box has)- Lack of catch-up TV services. Whilst the system supports BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Amazon prime etc, it doesn't have (nor can you install) ITV Hub, All 4, Demand 5, etc. Which are all available on earlier LG smart TVs. Although I can plug in a Chromecast to get these apps.... It defeats the object of having a Smart TV.My favourite features are:- 4K - just wow!!- Magic Remote (not included with the TV, but worth the extra £25) and excellent Android app (free) to replace the bog standard remote.- Google assistant and Alexa both available with integration to other Google and Amazon services. With voice control through the magic remote.- The smart menu allows you to pin your favourite YouTube channels so they're easy to find.- Great sound quality.- Capability to connect to other smart home systems are services.Despite my disappointment about the catch-up services, this is still a great TV and certainly provides value for money.
