First climbing shoes
Ok, first to give some context to the review: These are my first pair of climbing shoes. I have only used them on indoor walls. If you are looking at shoes for this price point, I would assume you are not looking for expert cutting edge climbing shoes.I gave these shoes a high rating because they fit well to my foot, and I have had no issues with them after hours of climbing at my gym. They are true to size. I wear an 8.5 US shoe size in Brooks running shoes, Asolo hiking shoes, and a couple other brands. So, I ordered a 8.5 in these. My big toe just touches the front. After 2 hours of climbing, my big toe feels slightly pinched. To me, that seems about perfect for climbing shoes. As far as the style, you may notice that this style of climbing shoes is pretty universal. These look a lot like the Mad Rock shoes that I was wearing as rental shoes. I also looked at some 5.10 coyote shoes that look like these in red.I'll update this review if anything pops up. But for now, I would say these are a great choice for a first set of climbing shoes.

Great beginner shoe
Other than buying the wrong size these are great shoes. Comfortable material, well made, thicker sole for the begginer climber and has a decent curve at the toe to get you started. They make what I consider to be "more advanced climbing" shoes as well as these. We went to try on others so I can reorder the right size and even the climbing instructor wears the evovle brand. In stores like REI these are $125 so it's a great deal!

Really nice shoes!
Really nice shoes!! They are so comfortable in cracks its definitely a really good shoe! First day of climbing in them was quite nice they did rub on my heels a lot but some tape took that away no problem. Over all i suggest these for cracks even toe jamming felt super bomber with these. And for size go with your shoe size maybe a half size smaller they will stretch a half size. They are tight but not uncomfortable at all.

Very good beginner shoe.
I am very pleased with this shoe. I read a lot of reviews that were mixed but I am pleased. For a first shoe, this does the job. It is tight enough that I am doing well climbing, but not too aggressive that I need to take them off between routes. The only small negative is that for a bit, the blue leather stains your feet when you sweat, but comes off with soap and water. I make sure to immediately wash my feet after the workout and it really eliminates the worry. Eventually it stops doing it.Rubber is holding up well too.Oh.. And real long laces lol. But I just tuck them in.Buy it in your NORMAL shoe size. I did and they fit PERFECT!

Great shoe. I've been using it about 4-7 hours weekly, and it's held up for about 6 months. For the first few weeks, you might have some blue dye on your ankles, but it goes away eventually. Don't know how long they last with heavy use, but for my use they work great and are comfy.

Too small!
I normally wear a size 6 women's shoe, and I ordered a men's 5.5 because I know climbing shoes are supposed to be tight. It was way too small! My toes were completely bent. I would probably need to go up 1 or 2 sizes. It seems to be nice quality though, and it looks way cooler than it does in the pictures.

Comfortable and Stylish
These shoes are very comfortable from the start and would be a good all day shoe. Sizing was as expected - I wear size EU36.5 Scarpa Helix, bought these in EU37 and the fit was perfect.Really liked the look of the shoes also - mine came with grey lace which looked nice with the blue color.

Good feel all around, doesn't stretch much
The shoe feels great. Holds traction well on all sides. I climb 10s and 11s indoors, and it works great. I haven't tried them outdoors yet; I may when I finish wearing out my old pair. But the lacing keeps it nice and secure, and there's good grip over the toe and on the heel as well.I have been using it for a few months now, and it hasn't stretched much, just as a word of caution for sizing.
