Bosch is the only cordless tool(s) to own
Now before I go too far, I will let everyone know I am not a big fan of cordless tools. About 30 years ago I purchased a Makita cordless drill (back in the day when Makita and Milwaukee were the only game in town) and loved it, it was a tank. It lasted close to 15 years, and cost 200 dollars in 1987 dollars. Soon after it died I found the cordless industry was junk and much of it was being built in China compared to the Mikita I had since 1987 that was made and built in Japan. Quality. So being a woodworker in my primary shop I see no need for cordless tools until about 7 years ago when I took a chance and bought into Bosch's 18V compact system (it was the brushed version of an 18V cordless drill and fell in love with it.) This drill was much smaller and more ergo than my Makita and the battery life was wonderful.Fast foward 7 years later to toady : I now own 6 18V Bosch cordless drills (3 18V compact drills, 2 18V compact hammer drills, and one compact 18V driver. Today I am leaving a review for the brushless 18V cordless Impact driver. It seems like a quality tool, but it will be interesting as this is the 1st brushless tool I have purchased from this 18V line. It's seems as ergo as most of the drill drivers I own, but it is a little on the heavy side. With a deep well impact socket on this tool it balances well in my hand. I wasn't too impressed with the soft touch buttons on the front of the impact, they could of used a more substanial material than the cheap plastic they used, but only time will tell. I will say even on full power mode the battery life seem s to be pretty good and the tool has plenty of torque, but at the same time I don't think this tool is designed to remove lug nuts form wheels either. Keep in mind I purchased this mainly to drive and remove 4" lag bolts and it does this quite well. I've had this tool in my cart on Amazon for over a year when one day Amazon almost cut the price in half to around 120.00. It was a no-brainer at that point, it was bought and put in my shop. I really like this tool, thanks Bosch.

Once you go brushless you wont go back
Although I have good and bad experiences with Bosch hand tools in the past, nothing so bad that I would not swear off the brand. So I bought this IDH182-02 on Amazon. I heard its possible to use this to remove automotive wheel lug nuts. I have not used it on larger Bolts and nuts yet but have been very happy so far. This was an addition to my tool arsenal and previously a regular Bosch drill/driver was my primary driver. This is my first brushless tool, the control to start driving at low speed is incredible. The impact function seats fasteners nicely, and didn't take long to get used to. The light location has been well thought out for use in dark areas. The compact body is great for getting in to hard to reach areas. The tool with 2 batteries and a charger for 120 in Summer 2019 seemed to be a great deal that big box stores couldn't touch. I am drinking the Bosch high cost 18v battery kool aid, and have had good life in general with these batteries. Having a second charger is nice so I can have one in the garage and one in the shop. The bonus fabric case is nice to have but not as rugged as a hard case, and this tool so far is not turning out to be a case queen!

Suprisingly Powerful; Good Ergonomics
I had been looking at this Bosch combo impact driver/wrench for some time. Finally pulled the trigger when it went on sale during Prime Day. Price was about 50% of what I found it for elsewhere on the web. Fantastic value with the Driver and 2 slime pack batteries. First thing I did was try to take lug nuts off my father's 1995 Jeep, which hadn't had the wheels off in who knows how long. Took a few of them off no problem. Then tried using my older impact driver (not impact wrench which I also have) and couldn't budge them. Surprised me how easily it loosened the lug nuts. Also like the feel of the grip. It's noticeably thinner than my other impacts which for me (not being a huge guy) just feels more comfortable. Guys with bigger hands may feel different. Only negative I can see so far is that unlike my Milwaukee impact that has soft rubber around the nose and battery, the Bosch has all hard surfaces that could mar delicate surfaces (e.g., cabinets) if you're not careful with it.Love that I won't have to get my big cordless impact wrench out for small jobs that pop up requiring a socket wrench.

Great drill, couple issues.
Overall I really like this drill. I bought it when it went on sale as the new model is coming out. So far I have shocked it and it died and came back to life within minutes and I have also dropped it in water for a few minutes and after a thorough cleaning and drying came back good as new. Couple things to note: The forward/reverse is a little trickier to toggle one handed than other drills but after a few weeks I have gotten used to it. The main issue with this drill is that the chuck is deeper than normal, requiring a quick release bit with a shank of at least an inch long to fully lock into place. This is an issue as most shanks are 3/4 to 7/8 and those will not lock in place. I remedied that issue with a $6 quick release bit holder with a shank longer than an inch. Other than those issues the drill is works great, is powerful, and the 1/2 inch driver comes in handy.

Nice little impact driver
I have used Bosch power tools for several years and this one used my current tools battery and charger. Works as advertised. I have used to change tires on a camper trailer and ATV with no issues. Based on experience with those I would say this tool would struggle with a car or truck tire that had been over tightened or was corroded but other than that I would think it could get the job done. Is this a tool for someone who changes tires for a living? No, but for the average DIY around the house person this one works well.

I like it
Very comfortable grip. It's a decent light/ medium impact. Should bust a nut off a passenger car. Rated around 130 lbs. It is very smooth and it is my go to if i can't get to my other impact. Great for a dyi person but stick to the gen2 with the 4 and 21700 cells. Great to have the 1/4 driver and 1/2 inch option.

Wearing a goggle
Work for the fence 5 hours with one battery. If you can replaced a 4.0Ah battery should be excellent. Fully recommend
