Lexar JumpDrive M20i 16GB Mobile Lightning/USB 3.0 Flash Drive - LJDM20I-16GBBNL

This might be a good product to increase storage on an iPhone. I wouldn't know. It came with no instructions what-so-ever. I called the support line on the number I got from their website and explained that I needed some instruction in using it. The rep promised to send the manual to me. Turns out to be another empty promise. I spent a lot of time searching their website looking for some help. It appears that for the last four to six months, they have been going through a transition of ownership and haven't gotten around to updating their website. The only manuals they have which are very few are written in Spanish or German and I can't tell if it is for this product. There are NO English manuals what-so-ever! Do not waste either your time or your money with Lexar.

I really tried to get this to work. The Mobile Manager's confusing and fails to report any content either from source or Lexar destination. The Amazon reviews are all over the place. These reviews at a minimum reveal a profound inconsistency in buyer experience and product quality. This device should be taken off the shelves and sent back to the engineers (maybe newer hires) responsible for this debacle. I purchased this in part because of Lexars decades long reputation for development of memory devices that were well received by buyers looking for dependable quality products. This is a sad eye opener. Very disappointed.

There weren't so many reviews of this when I purchased but I'm glad I was still within the return window. This worked with a slim case I had on my iPhone plus. Like some other reviewers have said it is wide so blocks an existing USB if you need to use something else. The kicker was, the very first time I tried to pull it out of my laptop the USB connector came off. Leaving me to try and pull the metal shield out of the port. That's when I discovered that the storage is little more than a micro SD card because that fell out too.I'd look elsewhere.

Was sketchy at best. Worked once in a while and with a few cases I tried the lightning connector wasn't long enough. Maybe I got a junker. Ended up in the trash can in under a month

Does not load the pictures on to the drive as advertised had to spend an hour on the phone with tech support. I could only get 107 pictures out of 1394 pictures to copy to jump drive and only one contact to copy over to the drive. The unit needs some better software design. Cumbersome to figure out. The tech support representative mentioned that it would only copy over 20 pictures at a time versus select all function. I was able to get 107 photos to transfer however it changed the date to the to the date of the file download. so if you upload them back onto your phone later they will all have the same date. The adapter for the phone is not long enough you have to remove the case.

Serious problem right out of the box! The Lightning connector cannot be inserted if there is a cover on either the iPhone or iPad. I'm certainly not removing the covers each time I would use it. It needs to extend about another ⅛ of an inch. USB 3 connector does work. Construction seems a bit flimsy. Aluminum case would have given it more solid feel and heft. It needs to be slimmed down, too. Apple fans are spoiled with well designed products. Otherwise, great concept. I'm returning it.

Great idea but the app is a little immature still. I could not select all of my 3,500 photos to copy to the device; it just failed with no explanation. When I settled for 250 at a time it worked most of the times but sometimes would freeze near the end of the copy process with the progress icon displaying "copying 247 of 250" and then i could not cancel but had to kill the app and restart. Another problem-not Lexar's-I have a large OtterBox Defender case and suspected that the connector would not fit; I ordered an extension cable from another vendor but it only extended power, not data.Waiting for an app upgrade!

Does not work. Neither my iphone 6 nor my ipad air recognized the drive upon inserting. Tried multiple times and nothing. Obviously I was using Lexar's own app and even tried using several other similar apps. The one I tried that mostly worked except for a few photos it could not read is the Omars brand. Haven't tried any others. Should be 0 stars but Amazon forces reviewer to choose no lower than a 1 star.

Lexar semble avoir oublié qu'avec un étui de protection sur le iPhone, il n'est pas possible de se brancher. Il eût fallu que le connecteur soit plus long. Je dois aussi mentionner que je n'ai pu trouver un réel manuel d'utilisation pour m'aider à configurer je JmpDrive. J'ai dû, à regret, retourner le produit.Pierre Genest

I like they I can free up space on my phone just by plugging in

This is a really really good flash drive for iphone, I love it so much and really easy to use.
