Aloha Magnum: Larry Manetti’s Magnum, P.I. Memories

Yup. It was the read I wanted it to be and now I’m watching the original series (as the new one sucks), on DVD, with some interesting background provided by the book. And I appreciate Larry Manetti more too. And excellent recipes in there too!!

I think I am the first person to write a review for this book, but not sure why. I have always been a Magnum PI fan, and this is what piqued my interest. The second half of the book is a list of every episode of the TV series, and trivia related to it. The first half is of Larry Mancetti's live on the way to Magnum PI, during it and then afterwards. He has LIVED a really exciting life, and been involved with a number of celebrities . . . And a number of humorous anecdotes to go with it. A lovely read if only for the celebrity life's in the 70s and 80s. Recommended.

The actual stories related to the title are good but the elements of his life before, and antics during are hardly something to be proud of ! He comes across as been incredibly lucky which I’m sure he didn’t intend

A very interesting and informative read his personality really comes off the pages highly recommended for fans of the show
