Muffled sound & No Mute switch.
I had the thinner iPhone 6 version of this company's case previously (x2) and it worked fine but the plastic edges broke over time (x2).I saw this beefier case from the same brand, so I gave it a try. Unfortunately, the sound is muffled (both in and out) and this case also has No mute button access (which is a bummer because the thinner case had a great little wheel to turn that in turn flipped the mute switch and is even more durable than the toggle button on my LifeProof (the rubber always breaks off of my LifeProof switch)).Does seem tougher than thin case overall, but it is a phone after all, so I need to be able to communicate with it.Reminds me of the early OtterBox case issues.

Good with some caveats
Can't beat for the money. I go out hunting with it and it is water and shockproof. However, touch sensors are not as smooth and require multiple attempts which make texting hard. Also, you cannot change the ringer from sound to vibrate from the outside, so make sure you decide before closing it. Closing and opening is easy, and the carabiner is a must for me and a very nice addition.

and the annoying high pitched squeals and reverberation every time I am ...
I have it 1 because it is offers decent protection, and while I don't doubt this case protected my phone from several drops and spills, I finally pulled it off my phone tonight and won't look back. The quirks are just too much too deal with on a daily basis. No access to the mute button, clunkiness, and the annoying high pitched squeals and reverberation every time I am on I call. I might use it sparingly ice fishing, but the day to day hassle and loss of functionality has finally taken its tole. Waterproof cases in general are just not worth the hype - they all suffer from sound quality issues, sound loss, and the cheap ones like this send high pitched noises directly into your ear, and the person on the other end.

Okay product, poor packaging.
So, first off, the package it came in was all beat up, it looked like it had been opened and taped back together. The case itself was just freely moving inside the package. The case itself seems okay, aside from a couple of scuffs it has. And it did not include the carabiner as it was marketed.

Stop complaining about the misfortunes you've endured while using a product YOU skimped on. The REAL version of this phone case is $50 on the actual Armor-X website. This is a knock-off. You get what you paid for.
