Description
- Strong narrow plant support mounts directly onto your current downspout with zinc-plated screws, this kit is ideal for metal or plastic downspouts
- Clear easy-to-follow installation instructions with images are included, (vining flowers/climbing plants are not included), this trellis is easy to install with limited skills and common tools, the only tool needed is a power screw driver with a #2 Phillips bit (for standard Phillip head screw).
- The trellis is made from tangle-free black lattice that has a maximum length of 9 ft. Tall, 4 in. The lattice is easily shortened with household scissors if a shorter trellis is desired.
- The lattice is mounted onto the downspout with brackets (natural western red cedar) which arrive cut-to-size with pre-drilled holes. Zinc-plated self-driling screws are included in the mounting kit along with stainless steel cable ties. The self-drilling screws ensure the downspout function is not interfered with.
- The recycled plastic lattice is ideal, it is UV protected, it won't heat up in the sun so it won't burn clematis, jasmine, morning glories, passion vines, mandevilla and cathedral bells like metal trellises may.
- This trellis is mounted to a surface, it won't blow over due to the plant's weight or due to sandy soil. It won't rot like wood trellises and needs little maintenance except for removing spent vines at the end of the season.
