Fantastic true dual hose unit - great performance
Powerful unit with dual hose - true dual. This is my third (sadly) AC unit portable that I have purchased in three years. That’s not a good track record for me however, this one is a winner.I had two other units by another national brand and they were single hoses. What a joke they are. They just don’t work to cool a room no matter what. The biggest issue with single hose units is the pressure gradient that is created within the room. The single hose units will never actually cool your room properly and all have a max amount of air they can cool effectively. Essentially you end up cooling the same air that it cycles. Science aside it’s easy to understand why this becomes a problem. In dual hose your pulling air outside through the unit to dump ice cold air inside while leaving the pressure in the room stable. It makes so much sense. The other thing with this unit is the noise level. I had other units that were just simply unbearable even though they said “quiet operation!”.Finally - performance - 98 outside and medium level humidity - inside I have an ice cold 70 degree room.Winner.

Very powerful, but yeah, the window seal sucks
This machine will cool your space very quickly, but be aware that the mounting bracket provided is pretty porous to air. You will almost certainly want to patch the gaps with some kind of tape or additional insulation. This can be done in an aesthetically pleasing way, and I'm happy to do so, because the machine is otherwise effective.

Not supported by Honeywell or their partner "Helen of Troy"
If you want Honeywell to support this product you will be disappointed. They have pushed this off onto an organization called "Helen of Troy" which is a partner reseller. Their website lists support by category and these are:Air PurifiersHumidifiersFansHeatersSince Portable Air Conditioners do not fit any of these categories, you will be left in the cold. The reason I needed support is that theremote is very unreliable. Some times I have to push a button tenor more times before the unit responds to a command. But besides this issue, it is really a pretty good unit. At first it seemedI couldn't make the touch panel work and that's why I was dependingon the remote so much. You have to know exactly where the touchsensitive places are. Once you know where they are they work prettywell. There aren't many 2-hose portable systems out there but theyare the only ones to consider. I would recommend this unit. I justhope I never have to get support again. Honeywell doesn't like havingto communicate with their customers.

Only cools a 150 sq ft room a few degrees
As others have posted, this thing simply isn't a very effective air conditioner. I bought this for my bedroom in San Francisco. It doesn't get too hot here, and my room is on the East side of the house, so it doesn't get much sun past noon. I figured this unit would work well enough for my limited needs on those rare days it gets into the 80s during fire season. It did not. The thing simply cannot cool the room more than a few degrees. The room is reasonably well-sealed off, with no air exchange to the outside or the rest of the house. It makes it more pleasant, but it's not worth the cost of the unit (not to mention the loudness of it).For what it's worth, this isn't a defective unit. Mine works exactly as intended, with its output air at 50°F! It draws 1.5kW while running (about 11A), and the output hose shows a 20°F difference in temperature from the input hose. It's doing its job, it's just that it can't actually do what anyone would want it to do.If you, like me, can't get a window unit, this is probably not the worst option. But it definitely isn't a good option.

Love this! Quiet, pretty, and does a great job at cooling the room. Hoses are short- watch out! We had a single hose unit before which was super loud and you had to have the door closed for it to work. Recommend.

good Cooling, Installation Annoyances
This is an effective air conditioner. The casters make it mobile. set up, while not difficult is hampered by a flimsy bracket. Be prepared to insulate. The other issue is the hoses. The dual hose system is practical but the hoses should be longer than four feet. Got it done but with some frustration. But it has been working reliably since then. The remote is easy to use. overall this is a decent unit.

Horrible window brackets
This product works good and is quiet but the brackets they give you for the window have to be cut. In order for it to nicely sit in my window I had to put the slider pieces on both sides. I have brand new windows and the unit does not fit inside the window good at all. I also have to raise it up 3 feet for the hoses to reach my window. Not a good seal at all. The unit also does not compare to a standard window unit with cooling capability, but i can't fit a big enough window unit in my window so I had to settle

Artic Blast
I bought this several days ago as short term back up since our A/C was down. It is easy to setup and take down. After our repair was completed, the tech recommended using the Honeywell A/C in our bedroom and save on energy since we can keep the rest of the house at a much higher temp at night. Oh and the remote was also an awesome add on. My wife and I finally agreed on something!!
