Hyde Tools 28495 Pivot Pro Water Wand for Outdoor Cleaning - Kit

This has got to be one of the worst designed products I've ever had the misfortune to get swindled into buying.I don't normally write product reviews, but just had to for this product. On the surface it appears to be useful. A movable brush, and off and on switch for the water, a soap dispenser, and an extra brush that can be bent to get both sides of whatever your cleaning.Let me tell you about each of these in turn.The movable brush. Well put any pressure on it while scrubbing and it pops off.I made sure it was on correctly (six times) and each time it popped off with very little effort. I ended up using the brush like a hand brush so I could get the job done.The soap dispenser. Ha! Don't blink or blow too hard because the soap container will come off the holder without warning even after insuring it's been tightened sufficiently. And if you tighten it too far, it pops off. But tighten it enough and it will also come off, spilling the contents every time. You might think I was mishandling it or misusing it, but on the contrary, I was being extra careful after the first two times, placing it down on the ground carefully, and picking it up carefully, But guess what?, It still popped off several times more. Junk.The off and on switch, well it actually worked, I was surprised. But the cap on the end of the wand kept spinning off. Again, even after tightening it.And the extra brush. It definitely bends. But it also spins in the handle making it useless when attached to the wand. Again, I had to use it as a hand brush to complete the job.Don't waste your money on this product. Amazon should seriously consider pulling this product.

Received the Hyde Pivot Pro just yesterday and I love this product! It was easy to attach, so easy to handle because of the pivotal motion, did an awesome job turning my hose into a power washer that I used on my house.Without the use of any detergents, it took spots down that I haven't been able to in the past.My son just used it on a wood fence in preparation for painting and is highly impressed.

I bought this tool to wash my house. It was awkward to use. The spray nozel & brush were in each others way. The pivot on the brush was so loose that it just did not work well. My house is a single story ranch house, not very high. I was hoping to be able to reach the high places by just using a step ladder. However, this tool was awkward to use for anything above my head. The concept of this tool is good, just not very practical for me.

The head on this is to small for our use. The bristles are really hard too. Everything else was fine. Good vendor so so product.

It took a little while to get used to. The youtube videos helped. It has a lot of adjustable parts. It worked well on the deck and house siding. The brushes were useful. Easier than getting out my pressure washer. You have to scrub but it's faster than doing every board. Its not strong like a pressure washer but the adjustable brushes and soap dispenser are effective. Has a big soap dispenser but I did need to refill. I set it at a high ratio of soap to water to really get the foam going. The ratio adjustment is a cool feature. And being able to go back and forth from soap to rinse to see how much dirt and algae was coming off. The Angling nozzle did keep me from having to stoop down or reach over my head. Good for the price. Going to use it on the patio and walkway next.

Broke the first time I used it. Not meant for heavy cleaning - easy to use except too light to scrub.

Very useful tool. I own a 2,600 PSI Pressure Washer but cannot use it to wash the clapboards on my house as the pressure is too high, it would peel off the paint, and would force water behind the clapboards and into the interior of the house. I saw the HYDE Tools' product advertised and decided to give it a try. The soaper container holds bleach which I spray onto the clapboards, let it set for a couple of minutes, scrub with the brush, shut off the bleach and finally rinse with just water. This HYDE product is so easy to use to do all of the functions I just described that I can't imagine using any other tool to clean mold and algae off of my old house.

What a waster of money
