Sony 4 GB Memory Stick PRO DUO Media (MSX-M4GS) (Retail Package)

There really is nothing to say my seller sent it to me as fast as possibel and i received the product within 7 days of placement of my order and that was on snail mail shipping ! It came packaged brand new and i have not had any problems since. The pirce was perfect fr me it was 45 dollars and with shipping and handling it comes up to 51.05 or something like that . Believe me I would not purchase this 4 gig memory stick for 70 or even 99 dollars as seen in retail stores such as radioshack . I purchased it for my psp and other son products. I any a computer junky and like to test all my products especially portable memory . So i ran cycles of writing and deletion of material about 30 times and nothing happened. The speeds are great i can write 4 gigs in about a minute and a half. But when i my card is in my psp and i transfer data it takes around two minutes and thirty secounds. Deletion of material is about 25 secounds . All in all a great product ad it comes standard with a 1 year manufacturers warranty (i don't expect anything to happen 6 years from now). This is a great product i recommend it to anybody.

It truly is amazing to see how much data fits on one of these cards (currently an entire photo album, 27 compact discs of music, 45 avi movies, and a few other things and game saves adding up to a total of 1.9 gig! still tons of room!) and the speed!!! wow truly fast and quite a bit faster then the usb HDD they offer that work for the psp I wouldn't bother with them considering this is even faster then the sandisk memory cards by .2 of a second on data transfer both upload and download (tested on a quad processor mainframe) it truly is a state of the art sony pro duo card and is worth every penny if you are buying for a camera, psp or other storage reasons!Storage life and capacity: 5 starsSpeed of data transfer: 5 stars! compare to sandisk 4 star.overall: great memory card with loads of storage capacity and the ability for playback straight off the card for media music and even avi files.Buy one here. I recently purchased this item before I took a special vacation and wanted one camera card to hold all my photos. It ultimately worked as I hoped and I could have taken dozens more pics before it filled up. However when I first put the two pieces together and inserted them into my camera, the camera did not recognize the card. I had to remove the memory stick, disconnect and re-connect the two parts, and re-insert it into the camera a couple of times before it would work. I was concerned I would have the same problem connecting the card to my computer and I did have to re-adjust the thing once before I could download. All in all it works fine but beware that the connection of the two pieces can be a little touchy.

Initially I was thinking of getting a Sandisk 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo for my PSP, for about $10 cheaper. But I had some negative experience with Sandisk flash memory cards before so I decided to get the real Sony one. I haven't had my Sony 4GB for long enough to know its long-term durability, but so far it's been totally worth the extra 10 bucks. It's fast and reliable, which gives me a peace of mind (worth more than $10, I hope). You get about 3700MB of usable storage which is still plenty.This will hold my game saves and a couple movies plus my favorite episodes from The Simpsons as well as some MP3 files and photos for a while. I look forward to the day when Sony upgrades the PSP's firmware to allow the use of the upcoming 8GB (reportedly already available in Japan) and 16GB Memory Stick PRO Duo cards.

I have an older camera that requires the adapter and so i thought about upgrading to these cards so if i ever want to get a new camera i dont have to get all new cards. i'm used to just using 256 and 512 and i really needed more so i can shoot longer video and hold more pictures. i was constantly changing between cards and would fill the 4 cards i had up instantly in a few hours. i dont like to sacrifice quality so i will not adjust to a lower setting. in my opinion it should be done after its written somewhere and stored. I bought this from Digital Media Source if your wondering! It is a genuine Sony product. With all of the genuine markings straight down to the etching on the back. it works and it gives me a little over 3 hours of video with a 4 gb card. i am so thrilled i will be purchasing another!

I bought a 4GB ProDuo here off amazon. it turned out to be a good fake... at least for a while. It was very difficult to tell that i had purchased a fake even to the point of compairing it to a store purchased RETAIL version. The Fake worked fine until i started to put large amounts of data on it in perticular video's for playback on my PSP. The card then corrupted every file that was put on.As for the store bought RETAIL version i am quite happy with it. it works fine even though it is a little slower than the 32MB one that i have. It also works well as a Pandora's Memory Stick.

I took a risk buying this mem stick... I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T10 and the owner's manual says it only supports 2GB or smaller sticks. I'd read another user's review who said it'd work so I gave it a go. I bought one of these Sony 4GB Memory Stick PRO DUO ( MSX-M4GS ) for my first trip to New York. Five days, a 1000+ pictures and many minutes of short little movies - and the stick was great. Got home, plugged in and WinXP had no problem pulling the files right off. I guess the manual was just outdated, maybe 4GB wasn't available at print time... Anyway, this stick has super fast access all 'round. Good price, excellent product. Thumbs Up!
