I didn't read the description very well and was surprised to find out they light up. The color scheme is not annoying like other light up shoes and has helped keep my daughter safe throughout the darker days of winter. My daughter can put them on herself without issue, which is a blessing because she has wide feet and often has struggled with your average shoe.

I got these for my daughter. She’s 10. They are very well made as one would expect from StrideRite. I wish they carried larger sizes for my 10 year old son.

These are sparkly. So if you have a son and you are worried about sparkly shoes, you have been warned.

My kiddo is obsessed with these shoes, insists they make him faster. Lights are added bonus.

This is a fairly well constructed and shoe overall. My daughter says they’re really comfortable and loves the light feature. However, the fit is a little loose and the insoles aren’t attached we’ll. The insoles slipped forward and crumpled in the toe area about an inch within the first few days of wear. I had no idea until my daughter complained that they were irritating the underside of her toes. I had to manually remove the insoles myself and glue them in properly with shoe goo.

So cute and seem to be comfortable for my daughter. One shoe does light up better than the other.
