Mista Creepa - CAD MH310 are MY Headphones!
Okay so this is how it goes - i spent at least 6 weeks arguing with myself night after night - day after day - researching - clicking links - watching youTube videos, etc - trying to figure out "What are THE best studio monitor headphones"??? I needed to make the right choice - i didnt wanna waste my time or my money - I want the BEST QUALITY - the MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - and the LOWEST PRICE.Senheisers?? NOPE! SONY??? NOPE! AKG K271 MKII???? omg HELL YES! I mean the DESIGN! THE LOOK! THE AUTO MUTE FEATURE! The PRICE! ----Gawd DAAAMMM! THAT's more than i wanna spend LMAO!Finally after my final search for the SAME design - for a much cheaper price - i finally found something - AND WHAT DO YA KNOW??? - THEY'RE THE SAME BRAND as my HIGHLY underated Studio Condenser microphone that i use to record all my MASTERPIECE songs - like "Suicide", "Souljah", "Resurrection (Here I Come)", and pretty much all the GOOD sounding ones - anyways - WHAT BRAND???CAD!For just a little over $40!!!! Oh MAN! My dream came true. So i get em - i try em - tehy're AWESOME! they isolate noise and keep it out like "MAN!!!"Little bit heavy for my peanut head, but thats okay - STURDY, but still very comfortable to wear knowing they're doing the PERFECT job.I can be confident listening to them knowing im hearing the TRUE sound of what im recording and producing in my music.Ill be honest - i just wasnt convinced - i said DAM! If these sound like THIS - OMG the AKG k271 mkii's GOT to sound AMAZING!i just couldnt help it - i STILL had to buy em!Gt myself a SWEET DEAL on a lightly used pair from EBay - here's the verdict - EEHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! GAME OVER! Akg's LOSE! Although WAY more comfortable and lightweight to wear - NO DIFFERENCE - If any at all in SOUND quality - i just sold em back on EBAY and got my money back with no hesitation! These are it, my friends! the CAD Audio MH310 Closed-Back Studio Headphones!I CAN BUY LIKE 3 pairs OF THESE FOR THE SAME PRICE OF THE AKG'S. And i WILL too!:)CAD is my brand and dammit i'll do a commercial for em one day if they want me too!

amazing sound, comfort is moderate
Like everyone else has noted, the sound is great. Very balanced sound, and I would recommend them for studio use in a heartbeat. I also picked up a cheap headphone amp, and these things can get VERY loud before there is any real distortion. If I had any complaints about the sound, it would be that it is too flat, but really this is the sign of a good studio monitor headphone, so it is actually more of a strength. Sometimes I do need to add a bass boost equalizer on my computer. Isolation is great, not exactly at noise cancellation levels, but it does a good job of keeping other noises out. Whenever I take them off my ears, I am always surprised of how much louder it is around me than I expected.I had decided to pick them up for use while I am at work. I wish I hadn't picked studio headphones for office use, because they are not the most comfortable headphones to wear, and they are very bulky. I look silly wearing these, since they double the size of my head. Luckily I work from home, and no one can see me...As for the comfort, they have gotten better since when I took them out of the box, at which point they were very tight on my head, and I could not wear them for more than an hour or so at a time. But the size can also be an issue with comfort... the weight on your head all day can be a bit much to bear, and the big foam pads against my skin can cause me to overheat a bit (in addition to the fact that I dont have air conditioning). They are a very sturdy build, so I am not worried about the cord breaking like it did on my old sennheisers. These are built like a tank.Overall, they are definitely worth the $60. However, make sure you are buying the right headphones to fit your lifestyle. I wish I had gotten something with a little more comfort and portability and sacrificed a some of the sound quality.

Possibly the most clear & accurate headphones!
Wasn't so certain from the reviews, accurate sound with clarity for a low price from a brand I've never heard of? The packaging resembled something you'd find in a $2 shop but once I put them on and started listening I was surprised!Audio is extremely accurate and shows any defects immediately, there's a massive difference between good quality and excellent quality audio and you don't need an expensive hifi system to realise that. Noise isolation is pretty good, so good that I doubt many would want to use this in combination with podcasting as when you talk your voice sounds like its inside your head. Ear padding is also nice and thick with a quality feeling and avoids that crumpled cheap looking stuff you'd normally find in other $50-120 headphones. The cable is nice and thick too, unlikely to break from rolling over it with a computer chair 1000 times and has a gold connector with 2 various inputs. To reveal the traditional 3.5mm jack you just unscrew the stereo one - its not in separate packaging. However there's a few down points to an otherwise great pair of headphones. First off, the looks: the cans on these are massive and stick out a lot which is not good for a narrow shaped head like mine + they're hardly fashionable either for outdoor wear. Secondly, there are VERY tight on the head which can make them uncomfortable after 30min and if you rest them on your neck it'll form a choking position so when you're not listening to anything you'll want to take them off. Thirdly, they're restrictive for natural movement - if you turn your head these will not turn with you and force your head into an uncomfortable locked position. Its a shame that natural movements or having a normal/small sized head seem to be disadvantages for a pair of HEADphones! But anyway, if you can look past these flaws and figure out a way to stretch them out then its pleasure on the ears and a must for anyone who's serious about audio quality whilst on a budget
