SheaMoistureStrengthening Masque for Frizzy Hair Yucca & Plantain Deep Conditioning 12 oz (210184 ), Coconut

I am almost done with my second tub of this conditioner and it is exactly what I needed to help my hair grow. My hair is fine but dense, very lightly wavy Caucasian hair and I have been trying to grow it out but struggle with regular breakage due to my hairs being so fine. Using this conditioner once or twice a week for the past couple months has helped it grow immensely, I feel like suddenly my hair has been maintaining its length so much more noticeably than any time in the past and my progress has sped up immensely. Before my hair was always frizzy and shaggy and breaking off anytime I would use heat, totally killing my growth progress for a solid year or so. But then a few months ago I bought this and started using it and now my hair is long and shiny and soft like it has never been before, finally I have long soft hair like I always wanted!!! It feels so full too, like my hair isn’t just breaking and shattering before growing even an inch. I sometimes use other conditioners, but I plan to keep this deep conditioner as my main source of hair moisture for the next year at least, it is the only thing that has given me this progress and the price is 1000% worth it, not even a question.

This masque is EXTREMELY fragrant. After I first opened it I said to myself "do you really want to put this on your head?" It's that fragrant. If you are sensitive to smells and tend to leave your masque on longer than suggested in the directions this might not be for you. I have NEVER suffered from scalp sores or irritation, however after using this I got sores on about 5 different spots on my head. The actual product itself is just so so. It didn't wow me in the least bit. My hairs hydration was just so so, it didn't leave my hair feeling as full as other masques I have used, but it also didn't leave my hair crunchy or feeling like straw. This masque provided ZERO slip in my hair. I was unable to comb through my hair with a wide tooth comb with this masque on. This is not effective at detangling and it is very hard to distribute through your hair due to you not being able to comb through it. The product is VERY thick, you can turn it upside down and shake it and nothing will happen. I have found that the most effective detangling masques are thinner in consistency. This masque provides exceptional value for the amount of product you get IF it works for you, however I am left with a tub and a half of unused product that will be pushed to the back of the closet due to it being not as effective as other products I have used in the past. I gave it 3 stars however I wouldn't recommend it.

This stuff really does help with breakage & split ends. But most importantly, it's a fantastic conditioner for course curly hair - softness & shine for the first time ever for me. I have good results using in the shower for about 5 minutes. But if you can put it on & leave it for a while (I've done 90 minutes), it's even better. The conditioning lasts for days & does not leave any kind of oily residue.I use a small amount of the Shea styling milk for curly hair for control during the day.I've actually stopped using regular conditioner & use this each time I wash my hair. You can also just use this as a single step (no shampoo). Does a great job.I wish the scent were not so strong. It's not an unpleasant scent, but it's very overpowering. And not very gender neutral. Not everyone who wears their hair long is female...

I don't know how I could continue my natural hair journey without this product.They unfortunately rarely carry it in any stores anymore so I went on a hunt for it thank God for Amazon. Anyways I cowash my hair once a week after I section my hair and apply this product and add extra to the parts that are a bit more dry (I have noticed it is best to apply on wet hair) I put on a plastic cap and then a satin cap and leave it on over night (green house method) I only apply this product every other week (as I like to alternate between moisture and protein to maintain a healthy hair balance). It not only leaves my hair moisturized and soft but over time I have noticed that my hair is fuller, shinier, and healthier. I also enjoy the scent it is light and almost flowery and wears off through out the day. The consistency is thick but once rubbed in it disipates and is quickly absorbed by the hair. This is certainly my holy grail product along with a few other products from this line. Definitely try this.

This deep conditioner is amazing I've been using it for about 5 years or so and has been the only deep conditioner that works for my type 4, fine strand hair. It has a very thick creamy consistency, smells very pleasant and my hair is always very soft after use. Unfortunately, amazon and the Shea moisture website are the only places where I can purchase this product, I hope they don't discontinue this product

I have tried the Manuka Honey & Mafura oil treatment and the JBCO and I loved them, know I wanted to try this one and well...I do prefer the other lines.The smell it's okay and it doesn't have slip...Probably I won't buy it again

I have 4c natural hair and my hair is very thick. I need a deep conditioner that will soften and help my hair from breakage since my hair is very fragile. I have to say, I love this product. It really softens and deep conditions my hair. Since it's a protein treatment, I use it once a month and so far I have no complaints. I, also using the Shea Moisture Yucca & Plaintain Anti Breakage Strengthening Styling Milk which adds a lot of moisture and slip to my hair. I really love this specific line of Shea Moisture. I recommend it to girls who have thick natural hair.

I applied this on my dry tightly coiled Afro texture hair. It went on easily with very little snags between my hair. I did leave it on overnight under a shower cap. After I washed it out my hair felt soft (not too soft). I applied the growth milk in the same series afterwards. I have to say upon drying, my hair does feel more stiff not necessarily hard though. Probably the biotin in it working. I will need to a moisture to my hair again because I don't necessarily enjoy the way it feels now. I am giving it 5 stars because I believe it is doing what it claims to do which is to bolster the strength of your hair. My hair wasn't thin an fine to begin with. Additionally leaving it overnight may have been too long. I think it will benefit hair that has been chemically treated an also thin fine hair. The smell is more herbal than flowery

I have bleached fine 3b hair, which needed some sort of deep conditioning treatment to help my hair breaking off.The first pro is that it seems divine, not too overpowering but subtle and sweet. It has good slip which allowed me to detangle my 3 weeks tangled hair with ease. My hair feels strengthened and super soft. I would recommend to everyone who has overprocessed their hair.This is the first Shea Moisture product that has actually worked for me, (the JBCO and curl line dry out my hair), so I am excited to try the other lines.

Ich bin nun seit fast 3 Jahren dabei meine Naturlocken zurück zu erobern und benutze seit dem nur Produkte ohne Silikone, Sulfate etc.Ich würde sagen, das mein Haartyp zwischen 2c/3a ist.Nun zu der Maske.Der Geruch ist wirklich angenehm und nicht zu aufdringlich. Die Konsistenz ist richtig schön dick und gleitet wunderbar durch die Haare. Da die Konsistenz so dick ist, finde ich es einfach die Maske ins Haar einzuarbeiten.Es ist einfach die Maske auszuspülen und beim ausspülen fühlen sich die Haare Butterweich an. Auch nach dem ausspülen sind die Haare immernoch weich und geschmeidig. Auf dem Foto sieht man das Ergebnis nachdem ich die Kur benutzt habe. Als Stylingprodukte habe ich anschließend eine Erbsengroße Menge Shea Moisture Curl enhancing smoothie benutzt und die war dann das Ergebnis.Fazit: Die Maske ist sehr reichhaltig und pflegt meine Haare sehr gut.

I have been using this product for a while but recently when I went to the store I could no longer find it. I was so happy when I found it on amazon. It smells great and it makes my hair so soft and manageable.
