Marquis by Waterford Crosby Highball, set of 4

I ordered 6 of these martini glasses for my mom for Mother's Day. She was absolutely thrilled! They are a bit larger in person than I was thinking, but to me they're the perfect size for a martini with lemon peel or olives to hold your drink without it sloshing out. Someone earlier had said a good thing is that they are heavy enough to help keep your drink cold--I agree. Someone else mentioned that the boxes were shipped to him with no bubble wrap. I also received a box with 3 boxes of martini glasses (2 in each), and all three boxes were in the one large box with no bubble wrap or styrafoam either in the outer box or inside the martini boxes. But all of my glasses arrived in good shape though. For those who said in their reviews that the glasses looked cheap (or whatever) -- if that is your opinion, then you really shouldn't be looking at glasses in this price range anyway. Move on up to the level you obviously belong to in the retail world. These are beautiful glasses at a very reasonable price!

I got these for my husband who loves dry martinis but breaks all glass (and most other) things. I forbade him from washing or even TOUCHING any of my wine glasses, and he's broken all the martini glasses he's ever had. We go from 6 to 4 to 1, then nothing. He lifts weights, chops wood and rides a motorcycle; he just doesnt know how to be gentle. The last step to getting him gross metal martini glasses were these beauties. They are sturdy, stunning and the carve to them is masculine enough for my lumberjack, while still being glass. He uses them almost nightly and they have held up for months, a record in this house! I recommend them for their beauty and for people who break things.

If you're looking for lead free glasses that have some of that leaded crystal sparkle, these are the glasses for you. I've purchased a few of the marquis designs and the Crosby is the first one that I've been satisfied with. The others had a cut glass look where as these look more like crystal and have some sparkle. The design is beautiful, they're a good size with a nice weight and feel very sturdy. A great value for the money, or even if they cost twice as much. I paid $40/set of four.

Well designed tall & short glasses. We got lucky several years ago and bought our first three setsof each size at a Macy’s store clearance for $2 a glass for our vacation house that we also happen to rent out half the year. To prove how well they held up all these years even with rental guests - we’ve found only three chipped rocks glasses and one missing. I looked for the same set to replace them and was shocked to see them on eBay for between $60 to $200 for a set of 4! Turns out these are the same ones used on the series “Billions”. I guess the set designer saw a great design and bought the clearance ones too! Problem is the show and the glasses have become super popular and now sellers are taking advantage. Luckily, I found my glasses right here on Amazon for a still very decent price, about $8 per glass! So I stocked up and I’m very pleased! Thanks Amazon!

Nice reward to drink a proper martini in a crystal glass after going through all of the effort to mix, shake, strain, etc. Very nice optics with the artificial cuts, but the thickness and weight of the bowl and rim is awkward. The trade-off is that it is sturdy compared to paper-thin glass glasses that line that are attractive, but of limited lifespan.

The media could not be loaded. The Marquis by Waterford glassware is a phenomenal brand of glasses for casual drinks, dinner, or even for guests. I purchased these because I was tired of our poor quality glassware which broke more than normal. I am truly glad we purchased these sturdy and very easy to hold glasses. They are perfect for sweet tea or a cold beverage in the summer months. The thickness is great but not too heavy, which was important to me since I have arthritis. I chose this brands style because I wanted nice glassware for entertaining guests and to use frequently. I only purchased a set of 4 because I wanted to test the pieces prior to ordering additional glasses. I will be ordering more so our set is complete for 12 glasses. The craftsmanship is impeccable and the packing with shipping was secure for minimizing the possibility of breakage in delivery. Great buy and exceptionally well priced. I do recommend.

These glasses are beautifully designed. . I like that they are easy to hold due to their slender shape.

These are a really nice set of Waterford's affordable / every day line. Unfortunately there was a shipping issue & 3 out of 4 arrived broken. Going to try again :-) since I really like these.
