Great flat panel wall mount, easy to use
I used this to hang a 50 in Panasonic plasma flat panel on the wall. The tilt feature works well and is exactly what I wanted. It provides a tilt down and up. Getting access to the connection ports with the unit tilted "up" is possible. It is easy to "hang" the panel on the wall bracket. There are two large "hook brackets" which you mount to the back of the flat panel. With two people lifting up the 88 lbs plasma, we had it "hooked" on the wall bracket first attempt and have had no issues. Yes, you may want to consider a wider version to span two wall studs if that is of significant concern to you. I just used several screw in sheetrock wall plugs which are each rated for 90lbs in shear load and 30lbs in pulling load. Therefore, with one wall stud and 8 of these screw in sheet rock wall plugs, the mount is not coming off the wall. The tilting capability is adjusted by friction caused by two thumb screws (one on each hook bracket). The thumb screws only need to be tight enough to have the friction hold the flat panel at the angle you choose. I found a tightness which allows me to tilt the panel up and down, yet it will hold the flat panel at whatever angle I adjust it to.

Sanus LT25-B1 TV Wall Mount
Would have given this mount a 5 star rating but for one thing. The mount width allows for spanning only two studs (16" on center) which means if your studs are not centered in the space your planning to place the mount then one side will not be bolted down. In other words your first set of bolts (top & bottom) will be in a stud on one side of the mount (in my case the right side) and your second set of bolts will be 16" away - just left of center on my mount. Because of this the TV sits left of center on the mount (to center the TV in the space) putting some of the weight on the unbolted side. The mount is still strong enough to support the TV weight but on the unbolted side the mount pulls slightly away from the wall. I did call Sanus direct to question this and they assured me it would be fine - and so far so good. FYI - TV is a 46" Sony KDL-46XBR9That said it is a great mount, nice looking, well made, and the kickstand feature works well for accessing connections behind the TV. Bought the mount through Amazon and I'm very please with their service, price, shipping, etc.

Sanus LT25 Mount
I bought this mount after using Sanus' mount finder on their site and used Amazon as their price was much better than locally available. This mount is very well engineered and is easy to use and install but make sure it is suited to your installation. I was planning on using this with my Samsung PN59D8000 but, as mentioned by other reviewers, it is only 33" wide so you only get to span two studs, and with the 59" plasma I could not secure the TV and still have enough sliding room to center the tv in the space. Sanus' tech support was very good and if I'd had the time I would have bought the Sanus mount similar to this that adjusts to fit multiple studs. Again, this is a very good mount with very good company support; just make sure it is right for your installation.

great product - but i'm never doing this job again.
yep, the instructions are just pictures with very little information. i'm betting 95% of you who own a TV that uses this mount and a computer and internet connection to purchase this mount from Amazon can figure it out. The lag screws are a bit cheap and I discovered some high quality lag screws at home depot for about .79 and went with 4x of those instead. All other parts seem very solid and lots of configurations provided so if they say your TV will fit, it will fit. I tried to use the wall placement guide tool, but that just seemed more trouble that doing a real measurement.Love the ability to perform minor tilt adjustments in case you botch the initial wall mount leveling. The hangers are VERY solid, you'll be able to adjust the tilt of your set with one hand and it doesn't feel clunky at all. I decided that's basically what you're paying for. The arms are tricky and have some good design work. Everything else is just steel & bolts.Spend a little time figuring out the placement on the wall and then just do it. My application was pretty high (over a fireplace) and had an extended mantel in the way. We didn't have a decent scaffold system so it was a bit scary at the last point. We thought it was in place and then abruptly settled about another 1/2 inch, first on one side then on the other a few minutes later - which just about caused a code brown. All in all, spent way more time snaking the HDMI cables through the conduit and finding the studs through double thick drywall than anything else. Probably won't ever do it again though if I didn't have some decent scaffolding. Nothing like trying to wedge 110lbs of TV into a recess while perched on ladder praying your family member doesn't drop his side.

Worth It
This is a sturdy TV mount that is worth the money. Multiple mounting slots make it easy to mount on one or two studs. Probably the best feature of this mount is the leveling adjustments that can be made after the TV is mounted. I made sure the bracket was level on the wall, but even after hanging the TV, it didn't seem level to my eye. Using a level on top of the TV and adjusting the allen screws fixed it perfect.

Very sturdy and easy to make small tilt / level adjustments
Works really well. Very sturdy and easy to make small tilt / level adjustments.Be aware - it does push the TV away from the wall a fair bit. This was no problem for our application.

Quality without compromise
Great bracket, excellent quality, simple instruction on how to use. When spending over 3k on a TV you want to know it’s going to stay on the wall!
