Initially stretched to cover big toe but once on very comfortable to wear. Very impressed with this product.

I bought this to stop me from crossing my big toe over the toe next to it at night, as it was causing a lot of pain. Also helped with healing synovitis in the toe after a steroid injection. The item is quite small and if you have a very large big toe they might be too small. You get quite a few in a pack which is good.

This product was just what my husband needed for his toes. They were always getting folded under each other, so with this product this has straightened them together and makes it nice and comfy when he puts his shoes on.

Don’t buy not fit for purpose

Bought to aid healing for my broken big toe. After trying them, there are 2 main issues with this product: 1. The big toe part is not adjustable. It does not take into account the swelling you will have post fracture. Therefore, there is a really good chance you will not be able to use it at all initially when it matters the most. I had to simply force myself to put it on my big toe which obviously did not work well. 2. Extension to above - not a stretchy fabric, so if it does not fit, it does not fit. On a positive site - strong velcro, holds well, not bulky so can try with shoe with wide toecap. A piece of advice for free: make big toe part adjustable. I believe it was made by someone who does not deal with situations it was built for with the whole respect.

Does the job

I'm 5 foot 10 inches and a size 9 shoe. The loop does not comfortably fit around my big toe. But, you can put it over your second toe and then bind the big toe to that. So, still a decent solution unless you specifically need the loop over the big toe.

Like them as I do a lot of walking every day will get some more when I need them

Ordered a large for my husband who where’s a size 10 shoe . It did NOT fit around his toe. A WASTE of money.

I was surprised how great this worked for me! Immediately helped correct my discomfort. I am walking better both with and without shoes!

First off, I think unless you have really slim feet, if you're a man, these aren't going to fit your big toe. I think that maybe they might be okay for a woman (they were listed as "large"), but certainly didn't fit me.I was able to 'fashion' a type of splint using two: Opening one and wrapping it around the big toe, then using a second over the second toe and connecting it. The velcro doesn't hold the best either, so all in all, I ended up just going back to wrapping them with tape. I think that's more effective and certainly more cost effective than these.

I have small feet with hammer toes on each foot. It was difficult to wrap them around my big toe and hammer toe without them being too far forward to adequately cover my hammer toe. If I wrapped it tightly further down to cover the hump in my hammer toe the edge was rubbing the skin between my big toe and hammer toe. It takes me a while to get it positioned just right but when I do it is comfortable and works as shown.
