I haven't been able to use my Makita drill maybe 14 years since the original battery could no longer be charged. Last time I saw a replacement for it was several years ago at a Sears Hardware Store, but it was $90, a Craftsman drill with 2 batteries was about $80 so I bought the Craftsman drill. I've been through a second set of a pair of batteries for that. I found the charger for the Makita Drill, I measured good voltage on the terminals. I searched several online sites for replacement batteries. Compared to what I found several years ago this was an excellent deal, $48 for 2 plus shipping. Based on my past experience with Amazon I thought this was the best choice. I received the batteries on the first of the estimated date ranges. It's great having that Makita drill again,especially with a project I have now. I was actually surprised to find replacement 12v batteries for the particular drill, I imagine it's been out of production for several years.

can i rate lower than a 1?? only held a charge for a week and that was both of them

fast charge, low price, would like to know that unit (battery) is dying ! check your needed Amp hours. good value.
