I really lije these scissors. I read a lit of reviews about lots of scissors, so I know where you are. These are very sharp and cut very well, I like that especially for a cat as they don't sit still, so a quick clip at a time.I got these for the safety tip, please do that for your pets, I adopted a cat with long, thick but fine hair and prone to mats, he doesn't like being brushed - so it is a daily thing, brushing a few strokes at a time.But when I see a mat starting, the safety tip helps me to know I won't cut him, with mats you have make a few verticle cuts - not to skin - and then just pull the mat apart.Anyway, these are are great buy and I will use them on all of my pets, and even trimming my hair.I am a real user like you giving an honest review. I rely on reviews before I purchase, so I am helping you to decide, I hope.

Wow, these works great. Not just great for the price because they're really affordable but just all in all great. For the price I wasn't really expecitng much but had to try it because of the rave reviews. Glad I did and that I didn't spend more on the professional shears. Usually I need to get profession grade stuff to groom my cocker, who has very dense fur, but I'm happy with these. I use this to trim around the ears, tail stump, and paw pads. Nice scissors. At this price I can get more than one pair in different sizes and have spares.I'm also getting one pair just to use on my kid's hair because these work great on human hair too especially for trims at home. My kid is under 2 and can't sit still. I almost poked her eye with regular scissors once trying to trim her bangs. I ended up nicking her right under her eye brow (Ouch!). The rounded tips on these are so much safer.

I purchased this product two months ago. They are VERY Sharp!!! But, they do dull quickly.. I have two Maltese females. The Shears are lightweight and do look cheap because Why?? They are Cheap in Price. However You are Winning when you weigh out the cost for Grooming$$ As I mentioned they were Very Sharp when I first got them, I even cut myself a couple of times. I would recommend that you use caution. But, I would not discourage anyone from purchasing this Product because it will work for short term use. Or in-between visits to the groomer. I am purchasing a second pair. I plan on buying a more durable pair later when I can afford it. But, until then I will use The Conair Pro Dog Round Tip Shears.

This is a very good and reasonably priced product; it cuts well the fur of our (very hairy) dogs. It is easy to maneuver, lightweight, sharp and safe at the same time. I also like that it does not make a "snappy" sound, so our pups do not get spooked. I recommend this product.

I use these around my shih tzu puppy's eyes, fine hairs under his ears and on the hair growing between his paws and nails. I love that the tips are rounded which takes away a lot of nervousness of poking him. The blades are sharp and cuts right through the thick fur without tugging or pulling. Also, the fine hairs under his ears are grasped and cut easily as well. I am very happy with these shears, great price and they work as described.

My 3 year old Shih Tzu Gizmo always goes to the groomers to get his nails done, ear cleanings, etc. But he was due to be groomed in March but the appointment was cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns. His hair in the last month has gotten extremely long with the primary concerns around his eyes. I was afraid to use regular scissors and found this pair which is just what we needed. I was able to safely cut his hair around the eyes although it is not the best cut ever at least he can see again! I would highly recommend as this is a great product!

We have a very furry puppy and he could not see through the fur in front of his eyes, and he would not let me get near him with scissors-- he would shake his head all around. This made me very nervous as it would be so easy to poke him in the eye, so I purchased these since they have the little ball thing on the end. Not only are they a very clever design because of that, but they are either much sharper or just better at cutting fur than any of my regular scissors. 500% improvement over regular scissors and definitly worth it!
