I'm an old woman... how much assembly is needed, would be a great help to have none or just the legs?

None! However… have it unboxed outside and brought inside for you. Otherwise you will have to wrangle it inside yourself. And I will tell you, it is a comfortable chair but sits a bit low. I’m an old woman too and I have a little trouble getting up out of it! Otherwise I’m very happy with it.

Sitting position height from leg rest to floor?

It is 14". A very nice chair with a firm seat. Like it!!

How many reclining positions are there in addition to the regular sitting position?

There are two positions beyond the normal sitting position. We are happy with the chairs. Doesn't look like a recliner when folded up. Small for a recliner.

Is the color shown as golden tan/blue/brown true?

Yes, all three colors are true, but I would say the tan is darker than regular tan. It's more brown to me. The colors go well with our couch and two other recliners. I like the chair very much. The seat is comfortable and a good height to the seat from the floor for me. I am 5 ft. 2 inches. The back of the chair should be straighter for me as it leans back a little. This is okay for most people but I have back problems and wanted a chair I could sleep in. I solved the problem by placing two small throw pillows behind me when I sit in it to read. If I want to sleep, I just put one of those travel pillows around my head, and I sleep great! It's a very pretty chair.
