These are amazing for so many reasons.The price.You can easily pay $500-600 for some high end pedals, but why? What do you get for more than double the price? Nothing.Direct drive.While direct drive vs. chain or belt drive is personal preference, I feel like this provides a lot more control and precision, especially at high speeds.Durability.This thing is f@*$ing solid. Very good quality, all metal construction.Versatile.It's very adjustable and you can do it quickly to suit your needs.OverallThis pedal has easily increased my foot speed and precision and made my drumming experience significantly better. You can't beat the price either, some single bass pedals cost more. But this sh*t.

Once you get this GREAT pedal set to where you want it, it feels really good to play! It's very smooth, the beaters have a nice weight to them, and with all the cumstom adjustability of this pedal it's a great product. I only had two issues that are well no longer issues. One was that on of the drive shaft bar screws on the left pedal was missing but that was fixed just by ordering some more off of here. second was the little black Gibraltar piece on top of the cam fell out but that was fixed with some super glue. Other than that an truly amazing product at and even better price! If you were originally looking at the avenger series pedals it's worth it to just spend the extra $100 or so on this one. Really top of the line and there's no wonder why its considered one of the best pedals on the market.

August 2010: Excellent pedals! They are quite responsive have great action. Definitely a superior value over some of the more expensive alternatives available. These are my second experience with direct drive pedals and I'm glad I found them! My first experience was my brother's old Ludwig Speed King.March 2015: Still have these awesome pedals! I'll never give 'em up. Just wanted to note that I paid $294.00 with free two-day shipping via Amazon Prime. I can't believe the price now.

I like this better. I had a dw5000 for years and wanted to try a direct drive but didn't want to pay for axis pedals. My speed improved but I had a harder time doing blast beats for some reason. It takes some use to but I couldn't go back to chain I think.

I really like the pedals, but if you used cheap chain drives for 20 years like I have, direct drives definitely take some time getting used to! Perhaps I'll love them more as time progresses. A lot of adjustments and settings to tweak for pedals in the price range!

I'm really impressed with this pedal. For the money I haven't found a better double pedal. There are some issues with it when used on thick carpet, but most pedals have the same problem.

these are great pedals, $280 for direct drives is excelent value, but it doesnt mean they are in anyway lesser quality than say axis pedalsthese are very smooth and not to mention much faster and responsive than other pedalscomes with a nice bag and all the tools attached to the bass of the right pedalthere are only two slight cons to these1. after a few days use the left pedal makes alot of noise and so, im sure a little lubricant will do the trick but afer a few days you wouldnt expect that2. the boards being shaped the way they are arent great if you dont wear shoes as they can be a little uncomfortable, also some of the screw for example the screw for the beater attached to the shaft was so tight that it bent the allen key and i thought it wouldnt come out at allapart from this these are great pedals, maybe for some the beaters are a little light but thats personal opinion, these are great value and seem very sturdy.

They are great. Ive had them gor avfew weeks now withought error, they are extremely durable and fully cutomizable, i really like how fast these can get, still takes skill though these pedals wont baby you if thats what your looking for, but if i can play whitechapel (deathcore band) withought them esplodin then id say their worth the price
