Good monitor, with possible caveats
The PB328Q is a nice 32" QHD monitor, however, it's not perfect. In fact, my first display is being returned to Amazon for a replacement. In my initial sample, the factory white balance is way off. Setting the monitor to 6500K resulted in a white point closer to 7600K. When calibrating the monitor, the only way I could get the monitor down to 6500K was to set the monitor to 5500K _and_ lowering the blue gain while raising the red. Having to heavily manipulate the color like this can cause color banding, so I decided to try for a better sample. (Update: the replacement monitor is very close to perfect with the white balance setting.)Beyond the problem with my initial sample, the AMVA LED lit screen is bright with excellent contrast, but suffers from color shift when viewed from even slight angles. This is despite the (false) Asus advertising claiming "178°/178° ultra wide-viewing-angle eliminates color shift for excellent visual performance." You can still see what's on the screen, but NOT with accurate color. It's not as bad as a TN display, but still nowhere near as good as an IPS display. When viewing the 32" screen from arms length, the color shift on the far left and right side of the screen isn't very noticeable. However, when looking at any angle, the color shifts on one or other side of the screen start to become more pronounced. Anyone needing color accuracy should either avoid this monitor (and every other TN or AMVA panel,) or make sure they are always sitting directly in front of the center of the monitor at exactly 90 degrees. While this particular issue isn't a deal breaker for me, I do with Asus wouldn't outright lie in their advertising. For non-color accurate work, the monitor excels with a great combination of resolution, size and contrast. 27 inch WQHD (or 32 inch 4K) displays tend to compress text to the point of causing eye strain for people over 30 years (I'm over 40), so the approx 92 PPI displays (24" FHD and 32" QHD) are "perfect" for us middle aged folks. 32 inches allows me to view the entire screen without having to pivot my head (barely) and is less disruptive than having multiple monitors side-by-side in order to get the same screen real estate. As a suggestion to anyone purchasing this monitor, the "VividPixel" setting of the monitor can cause colored text to distort badly. The monitor defaults to a setting of "20" (or 25?) for VividPixel. You should go ahead and change it to "0" and the distortions will be gone. For casual gaming, the WQHD resolution and large display, along with excellent contrast and good colors really brings things to life. This isn't really a monitor targeted to "FPS" and other games requiring a high frame rates, but for less "speedy" games, it's wonderful. A game such as Skyrim or Witcher 3 can really show off the large display when compared to a 24" FHD display. In these "slower" games, I haven't noticed any motion blur or lagging whatsoever. Keep in mind that this WQHD monitor has 70% more pixels than a normal FHD monitor, and that can add strain to a video card. Anything less than something in the range of a GTX 1070 is going to be struggling to pump that many pixels with a very high detail. Finally, the build quality of the monitor seems good. Unlike many other companies, Asus includes 6 foot cables of each type that the monitor supports (HDMI, DVI, DP, VGA, USB3, and analog audio.) The base seems strong and supports tilting, swiveling, up/down, and you can turn the monitor to a portrait mode (though the monitor has no way to inform the OS that the monitor has turned 90 degrees, so you have to manually reconfigure Windows to operate in that mode.) The only "flaw" in the turning of the monitor 90% is that when rotating it back, there's no way to know when you've reached the "0 degrees" point, and you might end up with your monitor crooked. It's kind of silly that the monitor rotates to about a negative 10 degrees before stopping. While I've spent the majority of this review pointing out the flaws in the monitor, it should be noted that these are all the flaws I've found (so far.) Everything else is great. The white point issue is likely a single panel flaw, and all the other issues (other than the fact that it's hard to find the "0" angle rotation point) aren't so much negatives with the monitor as they are items that a person should be aware of before purchasing ANY panel that uses AMVA (or TN-based) technology.

Switch from VS247H-P to PB328Q
This is for the ASUS PB328Q 32"I was a little bit hesitant about ordering this monitor because of some of the reviews. Some reporting that the monitors that they had received went through poor QC. Spending close to $500 on something that may be faulty is a little unnerving. But... I really wanted a monitor with these specs so I pulled the trigger. Low and behold this is a beautiful monitor. I loved it so much, that I ordered 2 more. My first 1 was ordered April of 2016 and the other 2 May of 2017.Previous setup was 3 ASUS VS247H-P 23.6" TN panels. They were great monitors. But, I was a little disappointed in them with using Lightroom. When I received my first PB328Q I was amazed by the size, colors and how deep the blacks are compared to the VS247H monitors. I can't stress how big of a difference their is in the black levels.Viewing angles are also very impressive. I notice very, very little color or brightness changes when moving side to side or up and down. Looking across the monitor at an extreme angle text is still perfectly readable and color is slightly washed out. The menus are very easy to navigate withthe toggle on the back right side. The stands are very sturdy and allow for a great range of adjustment. Monitors can be moved up and down with 1 finger and they turn from side to side with ease. With the heft of the these monitors, the bases do not slip and slide when adjusting them. Putting them into portrait mode is great for if you want to look at a whole Word document and not have to scroll to read an entire page.PB328Q's are connected to a GTX 980ti graphics card via AmazonBasics 10' DisplayPort (DP) cables (which are compliant to DP version 1.2). I had to go into the NVIDIA control panel and change the refresh rate from 60Hz to 75Hz. Also change DP input version from 1.1 to 1.2 in the monitor settings itself.Having extra USB ports come in handy for plugging in web cams, flash drives or even a dongle for XBOX One controller. Each monitor has 4 USB 3.0 ports on the left side. Witch is great, but... If having a multi monitor setup they do get blocked by the other monitor sitting next to it. So you just have to be mindful of what and where you may want something plugged in the ports. Also be careful if you have something such as a dongle for XBOX One controller plugged in. They stick out few inches and could potentially damage the port of dongle when turning the monitors. With a resolution of 2560x1440 I am able to display 4 720p YouTube videos perfectly on each monitor (added photos to show how much screen space is on 1440p). Games are also so much... How shall I say... Prettier??? The level of detail that you get with 1440p over 1080p is truly awesome. With the 980 TI games are all set at highest settings and still get between 70fps - 120fps (games such as: BF4, BF1, GTAV, Titanfall 1&2, PUBG etc.). As for the 75Hz for gaming... I can't say weather or not it actually makes much of a difference, perhaps slightly. But being a weekend gamer, when I can, I'll take whatever advantage I can get.I highly recommend the ASUS PB328Q monitor for anyone looking to upgrade to a larger monitor with good colors and blacks and don't want to spend the money on the ultra high end, ultra wide monitors with an ultra high price tag that comes with those monitors. I was able to purchase 3 of these with 10' power, DP and USB 3.0 cables for about the same price as a single ultra wide costs. And I get a lot more screen real estate for the price. I sit roughly 36" away from the center monitor and with a 32" monitor, it's a perfect size for reading text, using MS Office, playing games, editing photos or anything else.I would also like to point out that their size is not small. At about 28.75" wide, with 3 of these sitting on my desk they take up around 75" of desk space.

I bought it for fighting games like DB Fighterz, SoulCalibur 6 and Dead or Alive 6.
I spent a good amount of money on amazon last few years. Probably around 15000$.And you know what? This is my first review ever. I have two 144hz monitors for FPS games already. One Benq 24" and one Asus 27". Since Fighting games are locked at 60fps I thought I would get a 32" monitor with better image quality to make them even better. At first I was a bit scared to receive one with dead or stuck pixels and/or other issues but EVERYTHING is perfect. In fact, everything was so perfect I had to write this review just to let y'all know it's good and you won't be disapointed. I don't recommend for FPS/RTS and/or MOBAS but if you like RPGs/fighting games and/or any offline games in general and want good quality THIS IS THE ONE.

No complaints. Rock-solid picture and excellent colours.
I don't know where the complaints come from with this monitor, but even though some reviews spoke poorly of it I went ahead and got it anyway. The best bit for me is the large panel. My 40+ year old eyes sure do appreciate it, and the 75Hz refresh rate is just what I need to minimize eye strain - I've always been overly sensitive to flicker.Colour reproduction is excellent once you tune it a bit, and you can even change up on the fly depending on what you're doing. You'll also want to turn off VividPixel...it comes switched on and makes everything on the screen look like it has had some kind of edge filter applied to it. Honestly, it freaked me out. But turn that off and you're in business.

Best all around monitor, a real sleeper! (If you get the right one)
What an absolute sleeper of a monitor. Not very popular and I'll touch upon that at the end, but if you read the Tom's Hardware review it will tell you everything you need to know. For me even though I wanted to go 4K, I couldn't get behind it yet. I settled on this monitor because of a lot of factors-It looks fantastic, has a thin bezel and can pivot, tilt, swivel, portrait, landscape,,, you name it..-It has a great resolution of 2560x1440, It works perfect to maintain a proper aspect ratio from 1080p (I was considering ultrawide...decided not to) and still gives you a decent crisp density without having to scale like 4K. This monitor is 92PPI @ 32" which is the same a 1080P at 24"-Colors are great, even, no bleed and if you read the tomshardware review they have already calibrated it and posted the correct settings. Done-Great refresh rate @ 75Hz, low input lag and quick pixel response all mean you can game on this IMO. I'm a casual gamer, but I couldn't stand certain monitors. It'snot a gaming monitor, but it will do you just fineAll in all this is probably the best monitor you can buy. It is a great size and perfect viewing distance from an arm length away. Lots of screen real estate, great for reading, productivity and coding. Fast enough response times to game and color accurate enough to know you're very close to the real thing. There is just one thing...and yes many people bring it up and it is the quality control. I bought this monitor originally from another retailer when it was on sale and it came with a dead pixel, which I promptly returned. I bought it on Amazon afterwards and the new one was flawless. If you don't mind trying to look for the perfect one you will find the diamond in the rough and you will be glad you did.

I guess I am a clutz.
Easy to put together. Picture perfect without adjustments. No dead pixels. Even sitting 8 feet away is good. Glad I bought 32” rather than 27”. Very pleased! One week later it died. Am returning it.6 hours later... Accidently pushed a button on back and i now works again. A mysterious monitor. Am glad. It would have been heavy to return and I really like it!
