Replacement Side Door for GoPro Hero 6 5 Black USB-C HDMI Case Side Cover Repair Part Camera Accessories(Gray)

Well, I used it, and it failed and now my GoPro is basically a paperweight. I put it on. Checked it. Looked fine. Waded into the water with my 4-year-old son -- not deep at all --and after about 10 minutes my camera stopped working. I came out of the water. Toweled it off and checked inside. Water had leaked in. $16 waste of money and it cost me $400 -- which is what I paid for the GoPro just a few months ago. VERY DISAPPOINTED! I'm not made out of money! I really liked the GoPro but it looks like it'll be a while before I can afford a new one. VERY SAD

I'd consider myself an advanced GoPro user and have had many. This is the first time I've used a third-party part. This replacement seems to fit ok, but it doesn't lock properly. I don't need to push the release to slide the door open. Which may be fine since the cam is likely in a cage. But I'm not sure I'm sending this cam our surfing.Update 10/21- So I never trusted this door to submerge. Used it a couple times in dusty environments. The lock mechanism has always been nearly impossible to slide. Now the rubber gasket is failing and breaking down. Where as the original broken door I have still has a perfect seal. This is not a good product that I'd feel comfortable to keep water out of my four hundred dollar camera.

Door fit perfectly on my goprohero 7 black. Side note i uave the lomited edition dusk white so the door is not the same color as my camera but it installed and works perfectly

Looks good. Only problem I can get it to hook on to the camera. Going to have to return it.

It's a good fit. I had to add a tad of Vaseline to get it to slid off more smoothly. When I first attached it I couldn't get the door to slid off to open it with just my finger. I had to use a butter knife as leverage to slid the door. I just added a very slight amount of lub to the edges and it works great.

I bought this to put on an old Hero 5 that didn't have the door when I bought it. It fits well, and I'm not having any issues so far. I use my GoPro mounted to my motorcycle helmet; I don't need it to be 100% waterproof and I'm not going to submerge it in water, so I can't speak to that. However, I have been caught in rain on my motorcycle and I had no issues.

I purchased this item for my Hero 7 black. It fits a little tight, and is a little difficult to open but it gets the job done.

Love my go pro but have been stressed out about ruining it without the waterproof door. Glad to have to back.

This product is not what it is described as. First of all, it is not a replacement it is a custom made piece to replace your lost original. This means that it is not to spec from GoPro. It is made out of metal and is far less superior than the original. I have wasted money on this company that I won't get back and now have to locate the door from GoPro.This has been a waste of my time and money. Do not purchase this product. It is not an exact replacement.I won't trust a $500 camera with a knock off $20 door that I thought was an exact replacement.

Complete waste of time. It almost works, it almost fits, you can almost close the door but it does not fit well enough to be of any use.

The flap does not work at all; clip doesn't work and if you force it in it unlatches very easily buy pushing on the hinge area without pressing down on the button. Horrible product don't buy, won't be water resistant!

This product is a waste of money! When you put it on your hero 7, it takes some effort to put in and is insanely hard to take out. Does not even closely fit! Do not buy this product!

Its great.. but keep track of it.. its easy to lose.
