Pixiby Petra Eye Bright Primer, No.1

One of the best eye shadow primers I've used. I can even wear it alone because it does just brighten your eyes enough to make a nice coat of mascara stand out.

I absolutely love this eye primer! With or without makeup, I use it under my eyebrows to highlight and even skin tone above eyes. Love the matte texture and look, I was so sad to see this not available at target anymore nor on their website ,please bring it back Pixi!

Everything Sneaky Burrito said with one addition: I do like the eye brightening quality of the primer. This product is really great for a no makeup look, to even up skin tone, cover mild dark circles and prime for eyeliner on those "nude eye" days. I have had the exact same issues with primers burning or drying out my lids and this one does not. It helped my lids recover from the elf primer disaster of 2014. And it DOES extend wear (I have oily, hooded lids that just crease all makeup). It works better if sealed with a powder before you put shadow on. I am not crazy about the applicator either. There's this weird lag, where you twist and nothing happens and then all of a sudden you have a ton of product. The doe foot is no great shakes either. I usually end up dabbing and blending with my fingers. This product would probably be best served by being in a tube and being a few bucks cheaper!

Best eye primer out there, over urban decay any day. I have used this for years. Everytime I have branched out to try something new, I end up disappointed and come back to my ol faithful. Seriously for the price, procduct, and how long it lasts you cannot go wrong. I wear a heavy amount of makeup daily. I am also of darker complexion, this primer not only keeps my wear all day into the evening, it's lighter shade makes all my eyes shadows color come through as its supposed to. Without it my shades of eyeshadow look slightly off or dull. THIS PRODUCT LASTS ME 6 MONTHS! daily wear and weekend evening outings. I am very happy with pixi and hope they never stop making it.

I usually love Pixi products, but this eye primer wasn't anything special. It's designed to use on your lids to create an oil free canvas for shadow and help it stay all day. It does improve the staying power, but not any better than any other primer I've used. (For a cheap alternative, I find a stick concealer works just as well.) I can't see that it has any brightening effects really and the texture is kind of chalky. Also it's very light so my shadows looked lighter than usual and it almost gave my eyelids a too-white look when I tried wearing it without a shadow over it.

I have sensitive eyes and oily skin, so I was on the lookout for a primer that could hold all day and didn't contain irritating ingredients. This is it! It holds eye makeup in place like a champ and causes no irritation. Thank you Pixi by Petra!

I love this product. You eye make up will stay on all day when you use this product as well it lightens up the infer eye area.
