Wow impressive
I always went after pointed pellets when shooting at stacked cardboard backed targets.I my Gamo magnum about 10’ away one of these flat pellets went through 35 layers of cardboard (almost 18 boxes folded and stacked)!

Really flimsy packaging
Amazon package arrived with pellets spilled loose in shipping carton. Thin plastic tray pack for pellets too light weight, distorted allowing pellets to spill out. Wrap around label intact, plastic just too thin, too flexible to securely contain weight of pellets.

Good quality wadcutter-style pellets
This review is on Crosman Competition .177 caliber 7.4 grain Wadcutter pellets. These are good quality pellets. Weight is reasonably consistent, scaling between 7.36 and 7.44 grains. These work well in my Crosman 1377 single-shot pistol, though I bought them as a starting point for a couple of CO2 guns I just got. My 1377 is doing 1-1/2" groups at 16.7 yards (50 ft), stock iron sights, 6-7 pumps, sitting; not great but definitely not bad.Every pellet gun is different, so you'll want to find which pellets make your gun happy, but these are a good target choice for most guns. I currently have 10.5 grain Piranha, 7.9 grain Domed and these 7.4 grain Wadcutters; I've also used Hollow point and Destroyer pellets and each different type produces different results from the same gun.

Great pellets that fit pretty much any gun
Some of the domed pellets from Crosman wouldn't fit my rifle. Also bought some more expensive Air Venturi pellets that had a hard time fitting. These wadcutters are the best! They vary slightly in size from pellet to pellet, but they always fit in my rifle.

Dispenser boxes not suitable for shipping.
I ordered three boxes, two of which were broken open in the shipping package. Luckily, (it appears) the shipping package was sealed tight enough to contain the pellets. It doesn't look like any real harm to the pellets was done.

Good pellet
I shoot these thru a lower (600fps) velocity springer and they are very accurate at 10-20 yards. They can and have taken out Squirrels. Head shots are a must.update 3/29/2014: I have since purchased a new Crosman fury with nitro piston at 1000 fps and these pelletsare still very accurate at these higher speeds. I still highly recommend these for target practice.

Accurate and affordable
I bought these pellets to use in my low cost pellet rifle. They work well, and are very accurate. There were hardly any that came from the factory with defects. I was very impressed with these pellets. They are a great way to work on shooting fundimentals at home for low cost.

Worth The Money
As with drb1000, I also opened the box to find one (of two) package of pellets opened and spilled inside the box. However, I'm inclined to attribute this to poor packaging and only one or two pellets were actually damaged beyond usability. I did not count the pellets, but when I put them into an empty tin (which originally held 500 pellets), they seemed to fill the tin well, so I don't think (m)any were actually missing. In summary: 1/5 starts for the packaging, 5/5 stars for price.

Accurate cheap and controlled.
I really like these they are cheap accurate have flat trajectory and do a lot of damage. They also seem to have really tight production standards the all look exactly the same.

Great value!
Crosman has always been known for their quality. Though, not regarded in the airgun industry as 'the best' they are one of the original mass producers of airguns and pellets. These Premier Wadcutters are a great value since the only way before to get these wadcutters in .177 was to buy them in the 250ct tin. I guess the plastic clamshell was just a cheaper way t package them. The pellets are of the highest quality with no lead shavings in the package and they pellets themselves are clean and bright! They are a little below standard weight pellets for .177 at 7.4 grains but that doesn't do anything to the accuracy, they just leave the bore a little quicker. They are great pellets for plinking and target practice in low to moderately powered air guns. These are great for the Co2 power pellet pistol that uses rotary magazines. You won't get a better deal than these! Do like I did buy multiple packs at the same time
