listen I paid around 15 dollars for this. It doesn't let my old laptop run for hours on end but does run for an hour or two unplugged. I'm happy. I needed something that would power this old laptop I have in case it got unplugged or I needed to move it while it was running. This battery suffices. I first put it on the laptop and charged and then fully discharged it. and it has worked well. Does it run like the 100 dollar battery I could have replaced with or does it work as well as the original battery... No. But it is a freaking old laptop that I use sometimes. If you need to have a device to run for hours on end while unplugged this battery is not a good choice.

I have almost a month with the new battery, and now it last more than an hour. The original -Dell- battery, after almost a year of use, looses the charge within 5-10 minutes after I turn the pc on.I am satisfied with the new one, and with the website where I bought it. (Efficient and fast service)No complains until now.

After ready many reviews about this product, I was hesitant to buy it because it wasn't exactly cheap and returning it would cost $4... I decided to buy it because my laptop was dependent on my charger since its battery no longer worked. I am here to say that this battery works very well! Better than the original actually.

I bought this item since my laptop has a 5 years old battery still working fine but I read that it gives up to 3 hours. Two hour more that the original one. so I bought it. The shipping was very fast. The item arrived on time and in mint condition. I was satisfied with the service. The battery matches very well with the laptop. But, unfortunately the laptop did not recognize the battery. I tried plugging and unplugging the battery several times and running the setup but none of this actions worked. I contacted the seller. They were very gentle and answered my email very quick. The service is awesome. They told me that could be possible that the battery was defective.They offered me a replacement or a refund of my money. I choose the second since I do not want to struggle my life with a replacement anymore since the old one is still working fine. May be in the future I will buy the replacement from this seller. The service is pretty good.

I bought this battery with a lot of reservations based on the reviews, but so far it has worked great for me. The battery looks and feels great. It even has the little status button/lights on the bottom like the original. I popped it in and it worked right away. It has taken my battery life from 1 hour to 3 hours. Rebooting and everything works fine.I've only owned the battery for about a week, but I'll update this review in a few more weeks to report if it's still working or if an issue has occurred.EDIT: 2 months later: I actually DID get that "invalid battery" error message once since I installed it, but was quickly able to retry the restart or something and then it worked fine. Other than that happening once, the battery has been working great for me for several months.

Bottom line for the 4 stars, it just works. Although it has given me a "Battery is not correct" warning once, after I took it out and reinserted, it's been just fine. When batter gets to half life, I get a light up warning (2 orange blinks and 1 white). That's about it. So far not a bad replacement.

Battery seems to work and hold its charge, albeit it's only been a day. Fast shipping and great price! I don't believe in five stars unless there's a problem and it's fixed, but then again five stars would preclude a problem to begin with...

Received product in timely manner and well packaged. It was intended for a Dell Inspiron laptop as an alternative to the insanely priced OEM batteries from Dell that cost upwards of 25% of the replacement cost for the entire laptop! The battery fit in the compartment very well. However, on bootup, I received system error messages indicating the battery would not charge. However, the battery seemed to work (taking and holding a charge) for a short while. Then we noticed the laptop would only last for about 45 minutes when off AC Power. A friend of mine who works in the electrical industry tested the battery and said he could not obtain reliable readings from the battery and recommended I not use the battery.It is entirely possible I received an unusual sample from the production line. I say this because many other reviewers gave this product a glowing review. So, I would take that in consideration and possibly order the battery to save a lot of money. Just be sure to try it out thoroughly in the first 30 days (return window). Watch your system for power or battery error messages.
