Men's Blaze Chukka Boot

I am a frequent patron of Florsheim shoes. As usual, their shoes are almost broke in from the beginning. I order a half size larger and buy insoles for a few reasons: scar tissue on one foot, high arch inserts, broken toes from training, etc. Having a government background, I prefer smooth, polished shoes. The toe and heel caps are polished and solid where it matters most. The sides are built for comfort and flexibility. As a result, there is not as much of a polished look at these spots. These areas should be treated with a hydrating oil or conditioner. I have been able to get a shine with frequent horse hair brushing. Florsheim should market the padded siding for ankle support that is why I wear dress boots over dress shoes. These shoes are the right balance of choices I need. If my feet were normal, I would choose an all calf-skin alternative for a high gloss, and they would be less comfortable. The bottoms are not just a smooth leather surface that I consider a hazard. You actually have traction. It has been weeks of wear now without new shoe foot pain.

My father wore these with his Tux (Navy) for my wedding and received many compliments!

The photo on Amazon shows a nice shine to the boot. The pair that I received does not have that kind of shine. It is more of a matte finish. Why the difference? If the boot has a matte finish show it with a matte finish! Otherwise, the boot is acceptable. I did not want to go through hassle of returning, and ending up with the same boot I returned. Hope this is helpful to someone.

Nice looking boot and wide enough, however the distance at the base of the tongue is the size you would expect on a medium shoe, not a wide shoe. Because of this, you can't get you foot past that point.

These boots are clean as ALL get out. I MC’ed a wedding and was on my feet 5 hours straight and never felt anything but comfort. My grandpa bought me Florsheims as a kid, cuz he loved quality. This name has history and for good reason. Thank you Florsheim for making an awesome product. I’m going to order tha cognac ones. I have to have both pair in my lineup!!

Stylish in the English manner for wear with dress-trousers at work...thy look terrific...snappy and natty!!

I purchased this exact same boot in brown and they're great looking and very comfortable. So I decided to add something in black that I could wear to work and also on the weekend. I really like them!

Beautiful boot. It fits the same as my other Florsheim shoes. I'm going to purchase a pair in black.
