Tricky Install
Follow the directions on the package. Back the current set screw all the way out of the OE Ruger Sight. Carefully remove the two little springs under the sight. Partially thread the set screw into the HIVIZ sight. Turn the pistol over with the trigger facing up. With the new sight facing up, place the two little springs in the small holes on the new sight. Align the new sight facing up under the pistol, align the two springs and set screw with the pistol's threaded hole. Press and hold the new sight up against the inverted pistol. With a fine bladed screwdriver, screw the set screw in about 2-3 turns so it barely snug. Turn the pistol over and reinsert the roll pin. Gently tighten the set screw. PATIENCE.

Installed on GP100 7-shot. Perfect fit, should be the OEM sight instead of what Ruger supplied.

Nice replacement for the stock sight
This sight went into the slide of a Ruger Mark IV 22/45. It seems to be a nice replacement for the stock adjustable sight. It, as expected, took a little fitting, but fit into the dovetail fairly minimal effort. You can't expect to fit a target sight without some sanding/filing and the judicious application of a brass punch and hammer.This is a welcome change to get the help of fiber optics. I also have a Truglo fiber optic front sight on the pistol, so this matches nicely.

Bullseye!
This rear sight is very easy to install on a Ruger Redhawk. The only special tool you will need, is a 16th inch punch. You knock out the pin, and the site comes right off. Put the new sight on, line up the hole and drive in the pin with the 16th inch punch and you're done. Very good visibility with the green fiber optic inserts.

Poor machining
The screw hole does not alight properly with the hole on the pistol. It causes the sight to bind and the locking ball does not engage with the adjustment screw because of this. It makes it less than accurate and a waste of my money. Why can't they get the measurements correct?
