CW-X Conditioning Wear Women's 3/4 Length Stabilyx Tights, Black

As other reviewers have mentioned, these pants do have a very distinctive odor, right out of the bag. I sprinkled the insides with Baking Soda, then with washed them with Gain (strong laundry detergent), then folded Bounce fabric sheets in them when I put them away. Most of the smell is gone and it's definitely not offensive anymore. As for the reflective stripping, most of my clothing that has that material, ends up peeling within a wash or two - as did these pants. I don't find it that critical.With that said, and smell aside, these pants are FANTASTIC! I am 5'9, 180 lbs, and I ordered a Large. Perfect fit! The colors are vibrant and fun. They don't slip and slide while running and the support is noticeable around the calf areas, knees, hips and lower abdomen. I felt like my time and distance were improved as a result during longer runs. Other reviewers also mentioned that they are difficult to put on. It takes a few extra seconds, but if you work them over the ankles first and treat them like control-top panty hose on steroids, you shouldn't have a problem. I will definitely buy another pair in the future.

These are unbelievable, I swear by them. I have zero cartilage in my left knee and have had bone spurs removed surgically. I play tennis and fast walk a couple of miles a day. Since wearing these for the last 10 months I have not had to have cortisone or gel shots in that knee. I haven't even had to see my orthopedic surgeon. I own the capris and I wear them year round (in the dead of winter and even in high 80 degree weather days-hot is hot with or without these on!), because I need that knee to be stabilized, especially while playing tennis with the side to side and up and back motions. I also wear an over the counter Ace knee brace over them. What can I say, it looks like overkill but it works for me. I am over 65 and these capris are keeping me very active! I am 5'1" and wear a medium...I just adjust the knee to where it should be. It is unbelievable to be without pain for this long and I feel I have these capris to thank. I own two pairs, one to wear the other to wash. Can't live without them, even for one laundry cycle. BTW, the do NOT go in the dryer, they need to air dry.

I'm pretty often a small, but sometimes more a medium (Pearl Izumi I'm talking about you and your super small tights!) According to the CWX size chart I should be a small, 5'4 125-130 lbs (Not entirely sure what I weigh, thanks marathon training) so that is what I ordered assuming they'd be too small. Honestly I could probably do the medium but these are supposed to be compression and I don't feel like my feet are going numb or anything hahaha. They are high waisted too so that with all that compression you don't have the lump of beef right at your belly and their is an abdominal panel that helps with the belly pooch caused by high waisted tights. (You ladies know what I mean!) If I hadn't known they weren't going to just pull on like regular tight I'd have panicked, but they do indeed fit me. Going to try them out on a 20 miler tomorrow, my only worry is if I have to make a bathroom stop. On race day I'll be struggling against sweat in a portapot on the clock to get these back up! I'm thinking being able to walk the next day (flying home from Europe) will be worth the extra time spent in that situation. :)

Awesome, they are tight getting on, but once they are on your legs feel amazing. I have had a few knee surgery's and these make my knees feel wonderful.I did not want to spend the money, but I am glad I did.I will always own a pair of these, as a matter of fact, I have a few pair now.I work out and walk a lot and run, these are the best ever!

Love love these tights!! I just got these in and am so excited about them. If you're wondering if I should buy them Buy them! Looking forward to running in these for my half marathon.
