DSRB Tarot Cards: A Look into Your Future From the Lanai Cards – March 18, 2020

These cards are fantastic! And boy, are they no nonsense cards! I've gotten excellent insight with these-they really are like talking with your girlfriend's who give it to you straight with no BS. The art is wonderful, with that 80's vaporwave color scheme that I live for. I'm an 80's baby and not only did I grow up with this show, but my best friends when I was very little were my Grammy and her friends. Older ladies are the best and I wish even today I had older lady friends to hang out with. I mean. These cards are just everything! I know many wish there was a booklet and it's always great to have one to see what the artist was thinking, plus here the added insight of the episodes they reference....but they follow the RWS style so the meanings are easy to follow. Some people complain about the cardstock being thin but honestly I think it's fine. I do overhand shuffling because I have wee baby tiny hands so maybe that's why I don't see an issue. Just respect your cards and be gentle. They still have a reasonable strength, like playing cards. Overall, great cards. Not only for nostalgia, but for the beautiful art and the fantastic messages. Great energy in these cards!

I am a golden girls stan (no pun on the Stan lol) and i absolutely adore this deck! The illustrations are beautiful and i can tell they put thought into which character was placed on which card (Example: Rose on the Sun card would make sense with her bubbly personality versus putting Dorothy who I’d imagine is more of an earth sign due to her practicality). I saw some complaints bc the deck doesn’t include a book with the meaning for each card, but i plan to use one that came with another deck. Or you can google it! The cards are also sturdy and the images were printed great on them. I love this deck!

These are perfect cards for tarot readers that have an affinity for the Golden Girls! The card stock material is nice and glossy smooth and feel very soft yet firm and thick. The colors are pretty pastels and the deck resonates with a Miami Beach feel. The art is traditional in it closely resembles the traditional Rider Waite Smith decks and easy to derive the meaning of the cards from visual input. Overall I’m in love with them and have made them my go-to deck! I easily clicked with these because I love the art of tarot and I have always watched The Golden Girls since childhood.

I was so happy that this deck was the real one by Chantel de Sousa. I made the mistake of ordering the counterfeit deck and it was terrible because one of the cards had a typing error. This is the original deck, so there were no misprints. I was happy to receive it and go through it. I'm going to love using this deck for readings. It's a shame this deck is no longer in print. Thanks for sharing it with us! And thank you for being a friend!

These are the funniest cards and when I saw them I knew I had to add them to my tarot deck collection. I grew up watching the Golden Girls, and I still watch them to this day. Each suit is represented by one of the girls and they all depict them well; Blanche as The Chariot with 2 half naked men is just spot on! Very cool 80's vibe to the deck and the box is nice and sturdy. I am sure to get a kick out of using these in a reading!

Love these cards . I love golden girls and the pastel colors are so pretty. It really do remind me of florida and Miami . I love the imagery . It reminds me of the rider Waite deck but with golden girls of course . It do not come with guidebook, but I love this deck so much it made me decide to buy the tv show friends tarot deck that was made by same company . The box the cards come in is the best . It reminds me of a pocketbook or a cigarette box but way more studier .

These are great. Most of the cards exceeded my expectations, and some even seem to reference episodes. A few cards are just traditional RW-style takes on the suits, which seem to not fit in with the theme (no GG references)... I found that odd but the care that went into the deck overall makes it forgivable.Card stock is good and quality of images is great. Love the Miami Art Deco 80s style. Some of the cards are simply gorgeous. I would have switched up the Girls for their respective suits: Dorothy would be coins, Rose would be cups, Blanche wands and Sophia swords! But that’s just me.Included some photos of my favorite cards.

I have been a reader for over 20 years and I was worried that this would be a simple kitschy thing without any base of Tarot knowledge. I was FLOORED at how well this deck was designed. It is not only cute for my love of The Golden Girls, but it holds true to the RWS style of Tarot. The cards are thinner card stock, but that’s fine for my small hands. The design of the box was pretty unique, simple, and not over done. (I bought 2 heaven forbid it ever goes out of print)
