Great book and how to for single dads.

great book for preteens. i bought this book for my toddler but the hair styles are for older girls and all the styles are geared to girls with long hair. i still gave it four stars because its a neat and very educational book on hair. its a keeper just not for now.

Nothing new for professionals but great for Mom'shair ideas for my little clients that are little girls and preteen. As a hairstylist I was hoping for a book of ideas or be inspired but was not. This book is full of great information and simple ideas one can do at home.

The book description specifically points out that there would be step-by-step expert advise included on how to cut hair at home -- the main reason I ordered this book. Out of the 200 pages, there are a handful on cutting hair, specifically how to cut bangs, and how to achieve a blunt cut, the two things I could have with no problems figured out on my own. Other than that, there are no pictures, no step-by-step instructions, no explanations on how to do a specific haircut, like a bob, or a pixie. Nothing. As far as I'm concerned, its nothing but a lot of fluff, like how to braid hair -- information that I can pull up by the dozen for free on the internet, and that I don't need a book for to refer to over and over again.

Just a few "unique" hair ideas. Most of them are just various adaptations of the same thing. The instructions are good for the more difficult ones, but I think there are better books out there. My daughter still loves looking through it, though.

This is not a bad book iteself. It has some basic useful information on how to take care of different hair styles, from cutting to hair accessories.I was a bit disappointed because I expected to see a lot more hair styles than what the book actually offers.Not a bad buy, but I find only a couple useful styles I can actually use. Some of them are just basic buns, braids, etc. If you are looking for something a lot more creative, then don't get this book. If you are looking for basic how to's then it's a good way to start.

quick delivery. nice pictures and excellent quality of the paper. butsome instructions are not vert easy to understand. i would recomend watching videos on the internet about how to plat french braid etc.

I bought this a stocking filler for my 6 year old great niece, as I had bought her a hairdressing training head . She is having great fun with mummy trying out new things.

As expected. Nice gift for a young lady.

Nice book, but what I wasn't told was a child had written their name inside twice!! Which left my child confused when she opened it as a gift!!!!
