Vichy Dermafinish Liquid Foundation with SPF 30, 15 Opal, 1 Fl Oz

Good, but not as great as I was expecting based on other reviews. I'm not sure this is significantly better than my old standby aerosol spray foundation. It does cover better than most other foundations, but it can be a little dry/cakey if you're not careful. You definitely have to play around with it to figure out the right amount for your skin. The instructions say to put some on the back of your hand and let it warm up to make it easier to blend, but I haven't found that to really work. I have acne, acne scars and dark circles and it does a pretty good job of covering them. It does feel nice on your skin and doesn't irritate at all. Also, I will say that in winter, my skin is drier, patchier, and generally just looks worse than it does in warmer weather, so this is not the best time of year for me to judge makeup.

This is a good product. I did not experience the same coverage as other reviewers claim, however. I bought this product because I read it "covers everything" and it is good for covering scars. Well, it does a nice job of covering up pigmentation problems and regular, small skin ailments. But I have some old acne scars on my cheeks and this does not cover them. It, like ALL other makeup I try to use to cover them, seems to actually enhance my scars. Of course not a fault of the product itself, and nothing will really cover your acne scars but if you were hoping to finally find a holy grail for your scars, keep looking. If you were hoping for a good foundation product that provides medium to full coverage for sun spots, pigmentation issues, etc - then this is worth a try.

This foundation is full coverage, lightweight and highly pigmented! I love longwear foundations but they do not like me. This is a longwear foundation that I can use that doesn’t dry to a matte mask. It looks and feels more natural and stays longer than any other lightweight foundation I’ve used. It comes off easily with my makeup remover wipes. It reminds me of the younique foundation. I gave 4 stars because I’m very pale in the winter and the lightest shade Opal still isn’t light enough for me. Needs more color options. But Nude is a perfect summer color for me.

Okay, I hate leaving bad reviews, and I can count on one hand the times I have done so. But this product is just awful. I have mature skin, but it isn't overly wrinkled or textured. Not overly oily, or dry. And I don't have problems with hyperpigmentation or acne scars. I do have some natural freckles and some darker areas under my eyes. I was truly hoping this product would give me some nice even coverage that didn't look heavy or make my smile lines look like canyons. Unfortunately, not only did this product sink into every nook and cranny I had, and some I didn't know I had....but it felt heavy, weighted and like a mask. I applied it with a beauty sponge. Terrible. I removed it and applied it again with my fingers.....terrible. I removed it and mixed it with my regular foundation....even worse!!!Also, the company has precious little shade choices, so I purchased the lightest one they had which was 15 Opal. I usually wear a warm porcelain shade. This shade was way too peachy. The price of 28 dollars was WAY too much for the performance of this product. I pay 6 dollars for my usual drugstore brand, and it out-performed this product hands down. I think I will just stick with that from now on!!Returning this product for a refund.

Actually I ordered the Opal and the Sand, thinking if one didn't work my other daughters could use it. The sand works in the summer but it's too dark for winter and the Opal is way to light for my skin. My blonde, really pale skinned daughter was fine with Opal. They need to expand color choices with a few in between each.Bummed that I need to go looking for another brand for winter. BTW I'm covering up 1 inch Melasma brown spot on my cheek and it does it REALLY WELL! My daughter doesn't have much to cover but she looks much better in this than cheaper makeup. But if you buy this order lots of makeup remover wipes. Takes at least two and then washing face to get it OFF LOL

I really love this foundation. I wish this came in more colors though! I ordered the lightest color and it is still too dark for me. It also oxidizes and becomes a little more orange as you wear it. This has AMAZING coverage though, so I use it to spot conceal pimples. My only wish is there would be more colors available.

This is my favorite foundation I have tried! I have tried SO MANY foundations with my acne prone face and blemishes. This foundation's coverage is excellent without having to use too much, and does not feel heavy on the face. Does not clog pores at all! I did buy two different shades to blend to my skin tone. Will keep using!

The most incredible coverage of any makeup I have ever tried, and I have tried several over the course of time. I am 27 and my go to was tarte amazonian clay as of yet since it was the only one to offer decent coverage without the acne issues, I have very sensitive acne prone dry/combination skin. This makeup provides light feeling, non-pore clogging, and incredibly even/all over coverage the likes of which I have never seen in any other product. This makeup really does have it all! I use a beauty blender to apply and purchased the opal color. It comes out beautifully every time and you do not need much. Great stuff! This is my forever makeup.
