amazing little card for sure
plug it to my macpro 17 2011 expresspcie 34 port and using popOS and watched this little card fly! throughput was great and held steady for hrs as I transferred 5gb of data from a usb 3.1 gen 2 drive. recommended for sure for sata III speeds!

Does exactly what it's supposed to do.
It's an ExpressCard SATA interface. Works fine with port multipliers, is fast, and stable.The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is that there are some eSATA cables that don't fit into the port on this thing, but fit fine into other ports. Other than that, it's great.

Good until I tried to reboot. Computer stuck at POST with the card in. Pull it out and boots normally.
Never could get the laptop to boot with the card in it. Had to send it back and bought the startech. Far more expensive, but faster and the ssd drive is seen by the OS and Magician much better.

A product works as intended to.
Not much different for eSATA but sometimes needed to use the connection.

Works with Mac OS High Sierra
Can confirm - works with no drama in my early 2008 MacBook Pro, even under my unsupported High Sierra install.

May not work on your computer
I’m sure ot was or is a good product but it does not work on my Mackbook pro, there are no drivers or updates!I have other Expresscards that do work but not this one, research carefully before you buy

Works as expected (in a MacBook Pro 17" early 2009), no need for any extra software.

Die Karte hat die Eigenart, das sie, wenn sie beim Hochfahren des Notebooks eingesteckt ist, den Rechner (Acer) in den Bios-Modus versetzt?????Warum trotzdem 5 Sterne? Ich nutze die Karte im Audio_Bereich, also externe HDD an Rechner. Und da ist sie sehr sehr gut. Ich hatte nichterwartet, dass es bei Express-Karten solche Unterschiede gibt.
