ACI 84635 Power Window Motor Gear Kit

When the electric motor in you power windows quits opening and closing your window[s] the plastic gear in the gear end of the motor is probably the reason. The kit is simple to install in your electric motor for $15-$20 . The cost to have a shop replace an entire regulator with motor can be upwards of$200. I have repaired 3 power windows with the contents of three Power Window Repair kits. Not one of the 3 regulator motors were needing replacement. All three window motors were fixed with the Power Window repair kit.

Part was fine, but not an easy task.Place on angle and press in. Recommend a vise.

When I put my vehicle details in it said it fits! I didn’t read any further. (My bad). The three plastic barrels hardly fit. I eventually got them in place and put it all together. Only now am I reading that this kit works on the left rear door. I only have a single cab. I was able to make it work with a little persuasion. This worked on my 1995 F350 7.3L diesel 4X4 single cab. Drivers door.

It was a little challenging getting the motor housing out but not to bad might take 1 hour from start to finish.

My order arrived promptly and un-damaged, however, ACI #84635 Motor Gear Kit was returned for refund because the rollers and the gear in the package did not fit together with the OEM motor's steel regulator drive gear. For just a few dollars more, the ACDelco 11M98 Regulator Motor (from Amazon) comes complete with a new motor, pre-greased gears, and the exact wire length and type, complete with snap-in connector. For the time it takes to monkey around with the Gear Kit and clean up the mess afterwards, the smart bird would buy the complete Motor Assembly and mount the New Motor and Regulator as a unit. Amazon's prompt and courteous Returns Policy is the best in the online retail business !! Thanks, Amazon !!
