NUVISION Split 11 Silver 2-in-1 Tablet/Laptop

Below is my original review. I reordered this tablet, only got one listed as "used, like new" for just $98, and the box arrived fully factory sealed with a small ding on the original package, so I received a fully brand new tablet! And it works & feels great! I've been asked by a few people already who thought it was a Surface. I had a Surface a few years ago and loved it. I love this tablet just as much! It has a wonderfully comfortable keyboard, the connection that puts the keaboard & tablet together is amazing! No cords, no ports that can get easily damaged either! The long end of the just attaches magnetically to the keyboard. It stays together, works great too! Overall, im pretty impressed by this. Sure, I'd love to have more than 32gb on board--64 or 128 would be better. I loaded a 256gb micro SD card and voila! I have enough room for all my apps, etc. I won't remove any stars from my review over this, because I knew the amount of storage it had when I bought it. So overall, I love the look & feel of this inexpensive Surface clone. The 11.6" tablet is the perfect size, as is the keyboard. The keyboard is a perfect fit for me. And getting a "used" one for 1/3 less also made it possible to get a 2 year extended warranty for $30, so I never have to deal with the makers, Envision. This company and its "customer service" people are a nightmare! It's shocking to me that their customer service is so bad! If I have problems, I just have to deal with Square Trade. The "used" status cost me the original warranty, so using my $50 savings for a brand new, never opened tablet system to pay $30 for a better TWO YEAR warranty was a great way to handle my only issue with the company. I am happy with the computer, the price, the design and almost everything involved, except for dealing with the maker and was able to find a way around their bad customer service using part of my savings to buy a longer, better warranty. Overall, im very pleased.MY ORIGINAL REVIEWThis arrived totally dead. Won't charge or even turn on. However, I love the size, design & feel of this! I can't afford a Surface, so I found a substitute. Now if I can get one that works? Amazon is sending me another, so fingers crossed! I'll update this once the replacement arrives.

This tablet should not be sold at any price point. The problems with it are as follows:1. The CPU it uses performs so bad, that even with the tablet stock if you open a window the CPU goes to 100% usage. And stays at high usages with the tablet on idle.2. Internet browsing requires a lot of patience, since takes a while to load a simple page, without using any third party browser, just the one it comes with.3. The tablet does not come with updated drivers, understandable, due to the fact that is stored with a version of Windows of when it was shipped from factory. The limiting 32Gb of storage makes you only be able to use 12Gb after you boot it up. But when windows starts to install updates, you're only left with 4GB. Windows asks you if you have a micro sd card to use as expansion so it can install windows update files in there, but after the 1h or so copying the files and you restart, when the pc is booting gives off an error about the memory card not being present (and you never remove it) and click ok and the message never goes away. not until you click on cancel and get greeted with an error message of windows update. The windows update process itself consumes around 50% of cpu power, just being active. Making slowdowns more noticeable.4. When my unit arrived it was dead, no charge whatsoever, it took 5 hours to charge. With the included charger, i thought it was just a calibration thing, but i unplugged it after got 100%, and later, at 80% plugged it in and the time to get 100% again was 1 hour.Ridiculous to say the least.5. Touch screen responsiveness is bad, the surface of the screen is rough, and doesn't register touches accurately and fast.Overall you get more cool looking device than an actual usable thing. If you are a power user, or just a regular user, stay away from this, there's no justification for the issues this product has.

I used this tablet/laptop when I was setting it up for a friend who’s very old and don’t have much knowledge of devices. I loved it when and I installed apps that she already installed in her mobile phone like zoom etc and worked great . I set up same email she used in her phone and so on. I liked It so much that I searched it on amazon and I liked the price but not much the reviews, however, I decided to give it a try. I couldn’t get zoom app!!! Will not allow you to download if you already have it on your mobile phone!!!! It heats sooo much ad quick! basically you cannot use the Same email account You have on your mobile phone because it tells you that you already have app installed in the tablet which is only installed in your mobile phone. I would dare to say that tablet was used and returned bec it was a little dirty on top but that’s not the big deal I know sometimes we buy items that someone else returned. I needed it for zoom meetings and could not use it once! I love it because you have two ways to use it and it is practical but seller really needs to fix this issues or they will keep receiving item returned. My friend got It from T-Mobile maybe that’s why hers was great or I don’t know but I’m sad because I really like it and could not really get anything Out of it besides struggle and headache.
