Great replacement for echostar recorder all buttons working as they should works sound on television too highly reckomend

Just right works the recorder with no problem insert batteries and it works. Much better the buying a universal and having to program it. I haven't tried the volume as my original one the volume didn't work it's not problem using another control.

This remote control works well was needed because i lost thd original one

I have written to the seller to let them know the volume doesn’t work and haven’t had a response. Looking at other people in the question forum they are all having problems. There is no way to return this item. A total rip off and not fit for purpose.

The description says "Full functionality of the original remote control supplied with your device". This is simply untrue.The original remote, apart from controlling the Echostar 610 can also be programmed to allow you to switch the TV on and off and control the TV volume and its source.When I asked the seller how to do this, they replied "this is a replacement remote , you cannot program that to tv". So there are 5 buttons on this remote that do nothing. Not exactly what I'd call "Full functionality of the original remote control supplied with your device".

Works perfectly with the Echostar recorder, a great saving.

This has made my mother very happy, as she thought she would have to buy a new set top box!This remote control worked straight away, much better than the old one!

As someone previously stated, this remote is better than the original. For a start it is far more rigid than the original so therefore does not flex. All of the functions work, and although the buttons are not in the same position they are clearly marked. Would throughly recommend.Don't forget to get some batteries (2 aaa) as they are not provided.
