Meets expectations
This satchel meets the expectations I had and that were described by the seller. I don't have anything negative to say about this item, has plenty of internal pockets and adequate protective inserts between the three main compartments. I guess the only improvement I would recommend would be a hard-shell lining on the exterior two sides to better protect my laptop, but otherwise I'm completely satisfied with the item.

great bag but the dimensions were wrong
This is an awesome bag and Swiss Gear is always well made. And the shipping was extremely fast I was shocked we're talking 4 days!! My issue is that the description was inaccurate I ordered this bag for my HP envy 17.3-inch laptop. Well, the dimensions of the inside pouch for the laptop is smaller than the dimensions provided. My laptop was just a little too tall for the bag. I'm currently shipping it back to get it returned and a refund.

For light use only
This bag is stylish and adequately spacious, holds a 15" (diagonal screen) laptop easily plus accessories, and is a good choice if you're looking for something to keep your laptop in around the house, but this bag would never make it as a daily driver. The biggest flaw is the vinyl used on the bottom, it has a plastic feel almost like stiff, brittle electrical tape (or W**mart-grade furniture) and I can easily see it cracking and tearing from even moderate day to day use, and the fabric parts of the bag also feel thin and will not take much friction or abrasion before wearing through. A shame really, because I really do like the design and dimensions... but the materials leave a lot to be desired.

The bag is awesome for carrying everything. The problem is the strap is too thin for how big the bag is so carrying around the thing is a pain. If you are planning on travelling a lot with a laptop through airports and such, get a backpack.
