Say hello to the new Quark Turbo QB2L-X with Burst mode. We've upgraded the circuits on our QB2L-X to give you a massive increase in lumen output. Thanks to the Burst mode, a new feature for the QB2L-X, this light will hit a blazing 870 lumens of output for the first 60 seconds on the Max setting before ramping down over the next 30 seconds to 50% of the initial output. As always, our Quark collection was designed to give you a staggering array of options, accessories, and interchangeability so that you have the right light for the job in any situation. With a waterproof, aircraft-grade aluminum body and impact-resistant lenses, these lights are tough enough to meet any challenge.

Good flashlight from Foursevens
I own a lot of flashlights, too many maybe, and this is now my 4th foursevens flashlight. The quality of this flashlight is definitely on par with the rest of fourseven's lights. It feels very solid and very well built. And its bright. Extremely bright, especially considering its fairly small and compact. If you buy this light you won't be wanting for more power. Its brighter than most people will really ever need and that's a good thing. The Turbo uses foursevens' 'tactical' interface. That means that you can program it for two modes (out of 8 modes total) for quick access by either loosening or tightening the bezel. I keep my two modes set to low and burst. I also own the foursevens Quark Pro with burst mode (780 lumens). Both that flashlight and the Turbo are similar, but not exact, in size, brightness, and price (the turbo being about $10 more at the time I am writing this review). The Pro, however, is more compact since it has a smaller diameter reflector. The smaller reflector gives more of a spread out 'flood beam'. While the larger reflector on the Turbo is better for a more concentrated beam that can throw light a further distance. The larger reflector on the Turbo makes it harder to pocket carry and makes it a bit heavier. It will still fit in a pocket, but not nearly as well as the Pro. This compactness makes the (slightly) cheaper Pro a better flashlight for general every day use. I almost always have the Pro in my pocket. But if you rather have a light that makes a more spotlight beam that goes to a greater distance (292 meters, compared to the Pro's 160 meters, according to the packaging), and you don't mind the thicker and less pocket-able form factor, then the Turbo might be better for you. I believe the Pro is better for general use since you can carry it in a pocket comfortably and its still extremely bright, while the Turbo is more of a specialty light for people who need the distance, or for people who just want to play around with a small light that can light up an object 292 meters away. Both are great lights though, and you won't be disappointed by either.

Great light so far
Purchased this for a weapon mounted light on my 9mm AR. It is very bright. Crisp, clean beam with little spill. It is compact. For the money, this is a very nice light. This is my first 4-7s and I am impressed-will be buying more of their products in the future.

Better and cheaper!
This light has exceeded all expectations. I've finally found a light equal to or of better quality than the SF brand. They better look out if they want to keep the majority of the market share. I've been using this light for about 6 months now and have not had one complaint. It keeps on going and is brighter than anything available from the SF brand. The rubber tailcap button has held up longer as well.
