Danby DCR326BSL 3.1-Cu.Ft. Dual Door Compact Fridge with Freezer, Black/Stainless

I had this fridge all through college and it was pretty good. The fridge itself looks really nice and stylish with the stainless steel. I loved having the separate real freezer, which none of the college dorm fridges had. I did run into a problem, where after about a year, the fridge portion started cooling very unevenly. My milk in the door would spoil too quick while items in the back would freeze solid. It worked out okay, but I had to learn where to place certain items in the fridge for best temperature.

Cools and freezes just fine but really noisy for about 15 minuets every half hour.

I had purchased a Haier through Amazon and it was noisey then stopped working before 3 months were up. Amazon took it back no problem. So I started looking for another one and found this one. It is whisper quite, medium energy use and have had no problems. I would recommend it.

Doesn't hold the right temperature; I needed to install a temperature controller to make this useful.

I've had this refrigerator about three months and it works fine. However, when moving it, I apparently lifted it by the top and broke a plastic part that connects the top to the unit. Warranty doesn't cover plastic parts after 30 days. They gave me phone number to order replacement parts but I gave up after being on hold for one hour.

I learned to set this mini fridge on number 5 or sometimes 4.5, Do not set it on 6 unless you like frozen eggs and chunky milk bergs. It's relatively quiet, this is my first mini fridge so I cannot compare it to others.. so far everything works great! Very spacious and the freezer freezes liquids very quickly. I would highly recommend this fridge for the everyday college student.

I use my Danby as my only fridge in a single-person household replacing an old large inefficient full sized fridge/freezer.My Danby is able to maintain the proper below 40 degrees in the fridge and below 0 degrees in the freezer as mandated by the USDA (US Dept of Agriculture) for safe refrigeration. I am monitoring these temperatures with different thermometers in the fridge and freezer.The attractive features are properly described in the product description.This Great Fridge is definitely the Little Fridge that could ...and is doing a job of a Big Fridge in a smaller package.

thermostat either froze food or thawed ice cream.beware.Have tried for 6 months to regulate the mother*krand no help.bought it from HH Gregg.
