Its Almost too good
I had to replace a piece of crap pioneer that was less than 6 months old. I read a lot of reviews and bought this because it is compatible with the maestro adaptor for my Tahoe. This thing is very easy to use. It works flawlessly. The screen is very clear, not too much glare. The bluetooth is great. The apple car play is excellent. Has a home button and volume up and down. It almost has too many sound adjustments, you can change almost anything for any vehicle set up. Very well done JVC.

Nice update for 2010 F150
This along with the Maestro MRR this JVC added a modern feel and new functionality to my 2010 F150. New features include; tire pressure # values (before was just a warning light), A bunch of gauges, backup sensors now show how close you are to an object link modern vehicles (before it just a beeped), easy to use android auto. In all I would say I am happy with the stereo's look and function but take off one start for the UI interface and sound quality, not that it is bad, just that I have seen better in this price range. The Maestro wiring harness was a little intimidating at first but after a short YouTube video it was no problem. The biggest problem was not the radio, the F150's backup camera is in the review mirror. I purchased a cable to run the picture from the mirror and down to the JVC. Super easy to do just hard to find a cable that I wouldn't have to splice in.

2016 F150
I compared so many different head units before settling on this one. I’m glad I picked it. Super easy to use, looks great, sounds great and has all the features I was looking for. Plus, the apple car play is awesome. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.

Great unit, but rear hookups NOT AS PICTURED!!
Love this unit to add a double-din and backup cam to an old 98 Expedition. Head’s up, though, I specifically chose this for the double USB ports pictured in the rear view. BE ADVISED IT ONLY HAS A SINGLE USB. On the upside it actually has a front cam connection (not pictured). Seller should update rear connection picture so others aren’t misled.

It’s a risk
I wish I hadn’t installed this. It’s just not as seamless as factory Apple Play. Plus there’s a wire coming out in order to hook my phone into (the installer says that’s the only way) and the piece that was removed from my car to put this in also had other controls that I now no longer have access to. The unit itself seems okay but too contrasty, not as sharp resolution as factory and harder to see in some lighting. This was about $500 to install on top of buying it. And it sometimes doesn’t work. Naturally the installer says it’s the unit. I have no way to know. Wish I hadn’t done it.

Decent Upgrade, BUT
I am use to a knob for volume so the digits buttons along with touch screen is a little frustrating. This unit doesn’t come with a remote that I can place on my steering wheel so I have to constantly look down at the screen to adjust volume.

Easy to install.
This stereo meets all my standards that I was looking for. It was something I was looking for. I bought JVC speakers for all the doors and it sounds pretty descent. Great stereo for what I paid for.
