The guys from kayaks on line were very professional they kept me informed of delivery dates and the driver was on time and helpful, the kayak is as it says well made it came with a good set of paddles and a back rest (not so sure about this dosn't seem to work to well ) ,overall worth the money.

Having not owned a kayak before, I choose this product due to it being suitable for beginners. It is very robust and of good quality. Useful 2 small waterproof compartments and stowage area at rear. Have used it a couple of times on the canal so far. You do need to keep reasonable upright to prevent the kayak from rocking side to side, so not sure how it would perform on a river say regard stability.I am 5`7`` and found it comfortable with my feet right at the end of the passenger bay, so not sure how comfortable for someone taller. Weight not too bad, but recommended wheeled trolley if you are on your own and have to go more than a few minutes to where you want to launch. It also comes with paddle and seat.

Pleased with the kayak, nowhere near as stable in the water as my 2 man version but that’s to be expected. The paddle also feels a little cheap.Biggest issue was with the delivery. I ordered this kayak because of a delivery window of 16-19 July. The haulier (SGK) were useless and initially denied knowledge of having picked up the product. Then gave me a date of 21 July with a window of 1-4pm and arrived gone 7pm.Don’t believe the delivery timeframes if you want this kayak in a hurry although I’m sure you’ll enjoy it when it eventually arrives…!

The item was not suitable for my size and weight even tho it was advertised as being suitable , the kayak dangerously took on water and capsized.

These Riber Kayaks are fantastic. Extremely durable and absolutely ideal for beginners as they withstand the knocks and bumps easily. Very stable in the water, the seat is easily adjusted to give perfect support to your lower back and the paddle included is strong and lightweight.I noticed a little drop of water in the dry chamber on our first outing but that was sorted with a little addition of silicon grease on the thread of the chamber cover to give an addition dry seal.They are fairly heavy so I was glad I bought a trolley to transport the kayak to and from the water.
