Technical Pro BLUEDECK Rack Mountable Bluetooth Audio Receiver

I bought this because it was the only Bluetooth receiver that offered volume, bass and treble controls. The build quality on this is very good for such a lightweight unit. The set up was very simple and I've connected it to an iPhone 5s, iPod Touch, and iPad without any trouble. It sounds great. I think it sounds better than the plug in set up that I used in the past.I would have given it 5 stars, but the bluetooth range it limited. If I am in the same room as the receiver it stays connected just fine, but if I go around a corner about 15 feet into the kitchen the signal drops. That is a big bummer as I wanted to be able to control the stereo from my kitchen while cooking. Not a deal breaker, just a little disappointed.

Its a really great idea for any audio rack. Its perfect when your at a gig and you need music for the set breaks. Its cool to be able to set the music with my phone and walk around with it in my pocket. No one can mess with it. It has a great sleek look to it too.

I've purchased three of these. Two for myself and one for a buddy. It's crystal clear and I've had zero problems from any of them. Soon, all receivers will have bluetooth built in, but until then, this is perfect.

Nice audio output levels. No problem pairing with most of my toys. Like the flexibility of the unit. . .

This Bluetooth receiver is the only rack mounted on I've been able to find and it's range is advertised to be around 30 feet. I found it to be less than 5 feet and even within that range it was "iffy".

We bought this to use in a rehearsal studio system to make it easier for stage managers to send audio off of laptops and phones. It worked great for about 6 months until the end of our season. After sitting powered down in climate controlled rehearsal studio for three months we came back, turned it on, and now it refuses to allow any device to connect to it even after resetting the pairing memory. Each device attempts to connect, then an audible click is heard from the system and the device disconnects.

I should have read the reviews😖 anyway has anyone looked into mods or tweaks as for as an antenna for this thing? It would be cool if it worked beyond about 10-15 feet. Line of sight that's about it.
